Beer Cottage is set in 16 acres of beautiful countryside with far reaching views across the valley looking over one of the 2 substantial lakes on the property. The words most often used by guests to describe the environment are serene and tranquil – a real escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. We enjoy direct access to the renowned Tarka Trail via a private track in the grounds. You can walk to it without having to go on a road and then you are on to a lovely 35 mile cycle/footpath.

Enjoy a bbq at the fire pit with complimentary wood and charcoal. The excellent local pub at Sheepwash is a 1.5 mile walk through farm lanes and quiet country lanes.

Church View Cottage is tucked away in a quiet corner of Hatherliegh's picturesque market square. Peace and quiet and clear skies are what you will find. The cottage is very well appointed and comfortable, and decorated to a very high standard. Good walks or cycling from the door with great pubs close by. It is also an ideal location for exploring further a field and for Devon in general due to Hatherleigh's central location.
