This lovingly restored boathouse will allow you to switch off from the modern world, no tv or wifi to complicate things, just birdsong and views across the lake. Sleep up in the bedroom or on the extremely comfortable sofabed if climbing the stairs is not for you. Relax on the terrace, take a siesta in the hammock. Within 1hr of the Dordogne, numerous chateaux at 20 mins as well as some lovely local villages. Come and unwind.

In the countryside, the small road does not go beyond the tiny hamlet of three houses. The cottage is very close to the other two houses. It opens onto a lawn with a lovely view of a pond of more than 1 ha. Ideal for unwinding, hiking, discovering a green region of forests and meadows where beautiful Limousine cows graze. Saint Leonard de Noblat, the beautiful medieval city is 15 km away, Lake Vassivière is 20 minutes away, Lake Bujaleuf is 8 minutes away.

You can also fish on the pond.
