Private suite holiday rentals in Hawaii

The place was in a nice area, cozy, and very spacious. Stores and shopping like 10min drive. Walking to white sand beach was easy, about 8-10 min. Sunsets were beautiful there. I loved watching the birds everyday. It could get hot sometimes, but fans would refresh the house. Everything needed was there. Liz was very responsive and shared good information about big island. Mahalo 🤙

Had a fantastic time here. Perfect spot if you like quiet and relaxation. Lots of space and amenities. Close to Hilo and the volcano. Fantastic hosts. Very helpful with lots of tips and info. Very responsive. We're particularly helpful during our arrival day due to a missed connection in Honolulu. Very much appreciated waiting up so late and info sent. Thank you. We will be back.

Beautiful property in Naalehu. Pretty easy to find and there’s a sign that says “Park Here” on the lawn, which is very helpful. Fresh fruit upon our arrival. Paul was very responsive to all my messages. This is about a 20 min drive to the southern most point in the US and to the Green Sand beach hike. Farmers market every Wednesday in Naalehu is really neat. The space is as described and perfect for 2 people. I’ll definitely stay here again if I’m on this side of the island! There’s a washer and drier in the unit too, which is a bonus!

Although this is a unit right below the host’s home, it fell very private and peaceful. The ground and view are amazing.

Great location we walked every day up and down the strip to different restaurants into the beach other sites Walmart, and Safeway are about a five minute drive or about a 10 minute walk Apartment was a good size in newly renovated

The place was exactly as described. The bed was comfy! The AC was awesome and was great to come back to after a long, hot day exploring Kona. I would definitely stay here if I ever have the chance to visit Kona again.

We absolutely loved Randall’s Garden Suite! The home is located right off the main road but you feel so secluded. The trees were so tall and grandeur, you felt like you’re sitting right in the middle of the rainforest. The yard space was incredible to wake up to every morning, with life teaming all night, frog sounds turn into birds chirping all throughout the morning. (Bring some binoculars and just chill on the lanai, you won’t be disappointed at all!) E’hu the best host of them all, the guard dog, he made the trip extra special, being greeted in the morning or at 2am grilling on the bbq. Yes the fiancé and I wanted steaks at 2am. So did E’hu apparently, he scared the living crap out of me he’s so stealthy and quiet. Such a good boy, he’s living the life! Walking to the botanical gardens was a blast there’s also two good trails close by too Don’t miss out. To anyone deciding to stay here, do it! Unless you and mosquitos have a thing against each other lol. Thanks Randall, cheers 🤙?

Perfect spot to explore south & north ends of Big Island! Cozy studio with awesome ocean views and amazing night skies. Comfy bed with a good kitchen equipped with everything you need for a quick easy meal! Love the laid back vibe of the south side of the island. Thank you for sharing your Aloha home!

Debby was very nice to us. She gave us recommendations and welcomed us warmly. Can't ask for more from a host. Her place was spotless, I was impressed. Will definitely come back next time we are in Big Island, and it will be a longer stay. I kinda like listening to the coquis frog singing while falling asleep 😄

It’s like the surfers are performing on stage and you have a choice, balcony box seat. What a lovely stay, put to bed each night by frog lullabies and the distant sounds of crashing waves. Hilo was close by, but here you’re in your own peaceful nook in a quiet neighborhood. It was all that was described. Mahalo.

Great small private studio! Close to beaches and restaurants and James was quick to respond to questions and made many recommendations! The pool is clean and inviting. The place is well stocked with condiments and a little gift bowl upon arrival was a special treat. Our favorite restaurant was island ono loa grill fun local place for great burgers and Kailua pork! Great choice for a place to stay these guys rock! Don’t hesitate to book here❤️

Lovely guest suite. Cute decor. Had everything we needed. Hot tub was super clean and exactly what we needed after a hike to the Green Sand beach. Nestled in beautiful lush gardens. Super friendly host.

This was our first ever AirBnB and we were pleasantly surprised. Check-in was extremely easy and Ruth did a great job communicating everything we needed to know in advance. She also provided us with a wealth of information about things to do and places to eat on the island. We were even given access to beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella which was very handy. Her rental was very clean, spacious, and had all of the amenities we could ask for. I would highly recommend Ruth’s place for any couples. Thank you!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and it was A DREAM!!! We didn’t want to leave. The location is PERFECT, you are close to downtown, sooo many amazing restaurants, so many beaches, and we felt incredibly safe at the location. The hosts were SO friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond so that we were comfortable and felt taken care of. They gave us space though while still being so kind which we appreciated since we wanted to feel like we were on our own. It felt super private. The views are also beautiful. It is 100% worth the money! We loved it and will be back! :)

What an amazing place to stay! I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to visit the Volcanoes National Park and the beaches near Hilo. Especially for animal lovers, don't hesitate to make a reservation. Rachael's dogs, cats, and a pig (!) would not disappoint you every time you come in and out of the unit.

Wendy has a beautiful place and her graciousness is beyond compare. She welcomed us with fresh fruit from her trees. She was extraordinarily helpful with a project we were working on while here. She was always available to answer any questions we had. The place is well stocked and comfortable. It’s a short walk to amazing snorkeling and the lanai was a perfect place to sit and have coffee in the morning, listening to the birds and the ocean.

Our stay at Chandroutie’s made our 1st visit to the big island of Hawaii, an experience that we will never forget. We loved the coziness and comfort of the “Vanda”, we were able to come and go, as we pleased, it was the perfect place to stay for our vacation!

I’m not big on Air BNB but family and friends swear by it. It was a last minute trip home to Hawaii for a funeral. Found this spot and I liked the pictures. I was skeptical as I always am. I booked it and the hosts were very friendly and very communicative! They had amazing instructions and offered to be contacted for any help. Even checked in on me to make I was settled in and was told to contact them for anything. Super friendly and so nice. I got there at night in the dark. When i got up the next day the beauty was what people think of Hawaii. Easy to find with Apple Maps. Theres no street lights in the country but the house was easy to find. The pace was so comfy and cute. I haven’t slept that well in a long time and the comforter was the best ever I need one for my home. I WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN. Great location from town and the volcano Mahalo for the hospitality

Really good place to use as a home base when exploring Kona, the instructions were very clear on how to get to the place which was crucial I think to the experience because this spot is tucked into a residential neighborhood. Hannah was responsive and gave us a flexible check out time that we needed. If you want a good location to come crash after exploring Kona side all day this is a great spot for it

Great location and perfect amenities. We love our time in this darling apartment. Don’t be turned off by no a/c. We opened the windows and had fans. We were quite cool some nights. Melissa was such a great host. Spot on directions, lovely info book about the area, and made sure we had everything we needed.

The proximity to the airport for those early morning flights can’t be beat. The pool and outdoor space is a bonus. This was our second stay in this unit, though it was a quick overnight this time, and we didn’t get the chance to connect with Ania in-person.

We stayed at Kona Mountain Refuge for our one week honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing :) it’s nestled in what feels like a jungle bungalow and is so serene and peaceful. The location was perfect as we got to explore many different parts of the island such as Two Step, Volcano National Park, Hilo, Hapuna beach. The Airbnb is very clean and has all the amenities you could need. We enjoyed the kitchen and even the complimentary washer/dryer. The host provided all swimming equipment you could think of (beach chairs, umbrella, snorkels, towels, noodles)! Very thoughtful of them. They even sent us a detailed guide/list of recommendations which was so helpful in planning our itinerary. We had a car with low clearance and were able to park on top near the street, so parking was not an issue for us. We especially loved the friendly cat Papaya who I miss already! Would definitely return when we come back to the big island! Thank you for an amazing and memorable honeymoon stay :)

We would definitely stay here again. The location provided easy access to the north shore, and enjoyable walks. The unit was clean, comfortable and the deck was a lovely place to savor mornings and evenings. Full kitchen, allowed for preparing meals, and I really loved that there was a water filter pitcher in the fridge (less plastic is always a good thing)! The grill was a plus! Mary Lou and Steve were very welcoming. Parking in the garage made unloading and packing up each day super easy. We appreciated having beach gear provided, such as chairs, towels and an umbrella. Our stay was peaceful and restorative.
