Excellent location, great rental!

This was an absolutely lovely stay. The hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming, and the property is perfect. It is in a great location with amazing views. It was such a peaceful getaway, surrounded by some great animals. The hike around the property made for a fantastic adventure day. We loved it. I live on this island, but I still enjoy coming and staying here as often as I can, because it’s one of the best places on the island. Thanks so much! We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay! The location was great with a beautiful view. It is a short 15 minute drive from town but far enough up in the mountains where it’s so peaceful and relaxing. My kids loved being outside finding geckos and lizards and being able to run around. The house was clean and modern, and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

Very good place to stay. Highly recommend to anyone it’s a beautiful cottage. It’s destined to exceed expectations, seriously.

I can’t say enough good things about my stay in the Eco Hale. From the detailed directions to the cabin, to the very warm welcome, Kaeo’s responsiveness, the beauty and serenity of the property, to little details like woolen socks & a going-away bag, everything was 100% on point and what I was looking for to relax and get away from it all. I felt very taken care of from the moment I arrived. The property is safe, exceptionally maintained, and surrounded by beautiful plants, with the sounds of geckos, birds, coqui frogs and rain. Listening to nature while doing yoga or soaking in the tub was the highlight of my trip! Kaeo and Karl really have thought of everything, and are the kindest hosts anyone could ask for. 10/10 experience—I hope to be able to visit again!

The green cottage I stayed in was really cute and dainty. This was a perfect personal rainforest experience right in your backyard and if you are looking for peace and serenity. Her entire property was gorgeous and I am still dreaming of it as I am back home on the mainland now. 😊 At night, you will hear the Cokee frogs (LOL! I thought they were birds till I learned that they were frogs!) but I just closed all the windows and that helped me sleep through the night. Her dog, Kalo, is the most sweetest dog I have ever met. He is quiet and calm. He came up and cuddled up next to my legs when I arrived. She is very attentive to messages and questions. If you get lost and lose wifi connection you can contact and call her. The GPS was a little challenging for me once on the road to towards the cottage since my cellular carrier does not have the greatness reception. A nearby neighbor was kind and redirected me in the right direction. 🤗

Our stay at the cottage was everything we hoped for and more. The surrounding were absolutely beautiful. The view of the landscape from the back patio was so peaceful and the botanical garden was easily accessible and provided a place of relaxation. You are centrally located to all excursions and some of the top rated restaurants and bakery.

We absolutely loved Randall’s Garden Suite! The home is located right off the main road but you feel so secluded. The trees were so tall and grandeur, you felt like you’re sitting right in the middle of the rainforest. The yard space was incredible to wake up to every morning, with life teaming all night, frog sounds turn into birds chirping all throughout the morning. (Bring some binoculars and just chill on the lanai, you won’t be disappointed at all!) E’hu the best host of them all, the guard dog, he made the trip extra special, being greeted in the morning or at 2am grilling on the bbq. Yes the fiancé and I wanted steaks at 2am. So did E’hu apparently, he scared the living crap out of me he’s so stealthy and quiet. Such a good boy, he’s living the life! Walking to the botanical gardens was a blast there’s also two good trails close by too Don’t miss out. To anyone deciding to stay here, do it! Unless you and mosquitos have a thing against each other lol. Thanks Randall, cheers 🤙?

This was the perfect place to stay while exploring the island. It’s close to the airport and main roads but also feels far from the city. We loved seeing the ocean from the porch while eating breakfast. It was such a lovely way to start the day!

This place serves its purpose. Out of the way very quite road. The froggs sing you to sleep:) Bed was very comfortable. The Black and white cat is so friendly, he loves people. Place was well presented. Appreciate staying there.

Very peaceful escape in upcountry! The stars at night were definitely a highlight, I've never seen that many stars so clearly before. We opted to stay in most nights to avoid driving the winding road in the dark. Overall, the place was clean and very welcoming. Only thing I would suggest is to ensure the shower ceiling gets looked at. The cottage does not have air so it does show signs of mildew/mold. Not enough to bother us but something I wasn't expecting.

We had a fantastic stay. The hosts are very friendly and responsive. The place was very clean and has everything you need. It has a very beautiful view of the city as well as the water. There are beautiful beaches within driving distance. It was located 20 min from the airport. It is also only 5-10 min drive from very good cafes and restaurants as well as shops (local as well as retail such as Walmart, Safeway, target, Costco). We will definitely be keeping this place in mind whenever we return to this beautiful island!!! 🏝️😄

Very unique and beautiful treehouse and property. Loved staring at all the lush vegetation. And the mattress was incredibly comfortable!

The space was located at a bend in the creek and the running water, frogs, and light rain made the sleeping peaceful.

This was accommodated for me at the super last minute and I mean literally 30 min. I was having a bit of a medical emergency and wasn’t able to drive so I picked the first Airbnb I saw closest to me and drove over and they were able to accommodate for me! It was nice, they wrote my name on the sign and it was super cute. I honestly didn’t know what I booked or picked because I had horrible cell service as well I was just panicking but I’m happy I picked it, it was adorable and super unique. I have never seen an Airbnb like this and it amazes me how creative people have gotten doing Airbnb, it’s so cute and they were also able to accommodate my service dog — despite not being able to let them know given the rush and everything. So I was grateful and the outdoor shower was HOT & amazing! 🩷✨

The most serene Airbnb/hotel I’ve ever stayed in. So peaceful and calming. The back patio is completely private and the outdoor shower is heavenly. The garden and flora around the cottage are unbelievable. Perfect place to stay if you intend to go to Ha’ena state park.

Very large cabin with open balcony and many facilities (all listed in the instruction), also very nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and I felt asleep quickly every night. There is also an outdoor hot shower attached to the cabin, although hot water doesn't last very long (~3min, enough for me!). A bit hard to locate if you first arrive at night but Google map is pretty accurate and the hosts also provided helpful instructions. ~30min drive to Greensand beach parking where I started my 1 hr hike to the beach in the early morning with no one else on the beach! Generally nice location, not too far from both Kona side and Hilo side. Easy check-in and check-out. Hosts were very friendly, and they informed me of a King Kamehameha celebration day, and I'm very glad I went there! Saw people singing and doing Hula, how impressive!

just as described. located next to the secret hot springs and the nude beach! a quiet peaceful neighborhood with so much Beauty. A very responsive host and wonderful attitude! and don't forget the stars at night, amazing!

We highly recommend staying at Santai Cottage. The setting was very beautiful, peaceful and private. We enjoyed having the beach gear, hot tub and option to cook our own meals. Lots of windows and covered porches for a true indoor/outdoor living experience. We had everything we needed for an excellent stay. Thank you Karen, you were a great host!

Loki and Frank were amazing hosts! Our short stay felt so special. It was cozy! Super comfy bed, robes and slippers. The space was spotless and had the best amenities!We loved the cranberry orange loaf w/fruit from their land. There’s such meaningful detail that isn’t captured in the photos, that adds so much to the experience! Located on their beautiful property, but also felt very private. Loki and Frank showed us so much aloha, they are wonderful people. We loved our stay!

The highlight of our trip was having Dave and Jenni's place to call home for the week. Located in the perfect part of town, close enough to walk to the beach and restaurants while feeling private and tucked back on the quiet street. Everything in the house was even better than the photos, really was an amazing stay. Dave and Jenni were great and easy to communicate with for the stay, nothing about it was complicated letting us really relax and enjoy the island!

The perfect place to relax! A cozy tiny home with all the amenities including bathrobes, blankets, heater, air conditioning, TV, books, playing cards. Drinking water at room temperature, cold water, ice. All shower accessories, body lotion. Very bright room, lots of windows, so lots of fresh air. Yard with flowers and tropical plants, table with benches. The host check the propane all the time, ask about the comfort of your stay! Very convenient entry, there is a place for cars behind the gate near the house. Safe, quiet and beautiful. Special thanks to Charlene ❤️

The proximity to the airport for those early morning flights can’t be beat. The pool and outdoor space is a bonus. This was our second stay in this unit, though it was a quick overnight this time, and we didn’t get the chance to connect with Ania in-person.

This adorable tiny home is tucked into the most beautiful surroundings. It’s even better than pictured. Check in and check out was seamless and easy. The location and its closeness to Volcano NP was perfect for us. Everything was clean and the beds were so comfortable. This place was absolutely our favorite stay while we were on the big island!
