The house was perfect for our short stay on Naoshima. Close to local bus stop, walking distance to many of the islands attractions and great food place to relax after a long day exploring. Would stay here again anytime.

15 minutes walk from Kurashiki Station. Maximum 6

The best part of this inn is that it is in the Kurashiki Aesthetic District, so I was able to easily walk around the city at various times, not only during the bustling daytime, but also in a romantic atmosphere that is lit up and in a morning with less traffic. Of course, it was very convenient for sightseeing and shopping during the day. Thanks to this, I was able to spend time and relax with my husband. Even in tourist destinations, the inn was very quiet and I slept well at night. The facilities and facilities were newly and neatly remodeled, and overall it was stylish and clean. I was happy to be able to use the latest and stylish appliances with a microwave oven in Balmuda. It was nice that both of the two beds were double beds and it was spacious. The room is also very spacious, and I think it can accommodate up to 5 people. It was a guest house that I would definitely stay again because I had a comfortable stay.

Convenient homes to Kurashiki, Okayama, and Naoshima

I have been using Airbnb for many years, and my original goal was to connect with people and cultures from different countries. This time, I was finally able to experience the best stay in Okayama, Japan. It's so wonderful that 5 stars aren't enough! There was no need to worry about transportation, and Shuji and his wife picked us up and dropped us off at the station for three days. Thanks to this, the transfer to Okayama, Naoshima, and Kojima was very smooth, and it is a really recommended place to stay for those who want to go around the islands. It also has good access to Uno Port and is a perfect location for a trip to Naoshima. During these three days, Shuji and his wife gave us a really warm welcome. I heard that the two of you are in your 70s, but the room and bathroom were cleaned incredibly well, Above all, I was struck by the kindness and attention to detail. In the morning, the most delicious breakfast in the world is prepared, and you can play with cute cats and dogs, I have never experienced such a compassionate stay. It is a special place where I would like kind people from all over the world to stay. The couple was truly full of goodwill, and meeting them at this inn made me love the city of Okayama and Kurashiki even more. I have grown to like Okayama more and more. Please take good care of this lovely place and the kind people!

Mayumi is the best host I have ever had!It was a stay that totally exceeded my expectations, as if I was at home.Mayumi was welcoming and warm, taking care of me very considerate, would make a super sophisticated breakfast, would recommend good restaurants to me, and go out for a walk together.I was amazed at her level of Chinese and very happy to chat with her like a good friend. These two days will surely be beautiful memories for a lifetime.Would recommend to anyone and would like to come again!

Traditional Japanese houses and private rooms

호철Rating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I spent almost 20 days with Shino-san's family. It was a little hard to get back to this house called Kaede and the family who run it. I didn't feel like I was "no way..." when I saw that the Airbnb rating was all 5 stars, but when I actually lived there, I wanted to give it more than that even if it was out of 5. This is my first Japanese bed and breakfast experience, so I don't have a comparison, but I don't think I'll be able to find a better place to stay in the future. In addition, Soja is a small city a little far from Okayama, so I think it's perfect for those who want to spend a quiet time, and it's not difficult to get to Okayama if you need to, so you can enjoy big cities at any time. However, Soja itself is also a very nice city with quite a few stops by train (Momotaro Line or Hikubi Line) or even quite a bike ride. I write this review while I spend a few more days in Osaka without going straight back to Korea. I haven't even returned to Korea yet, but I already look forward to Kaede, Soja-shi, and Okayama, who will visit again in the fall. (I'm thinking about taking some time in the future to put up some resources on things to see, things to eat, etc., in Soja City, but I don't know if it will work.) Shino-san, Hiro-san, and my grandmother, I'm so grateful and I want to see it already. Stay healthy and happy until we see you again.
