High Calling

High Calling is the lower level of a home on Cataloochee Mountain, at 4300’ elevation. Enjoy the panoramic views year round from a private covered porch or around the fire pit as you relax with the peaceful sound of the creek below. A charcoal grill is also provided. Two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, the other with one full bed and one twin bed face mountain views. A sitting area with a television and games, kitchenette and coffee station are provided, along with snacks and drinks.

Welcome to Blackberry Cottage! Our quaint, imperfect Farm Cottage was built in 1928 and much of it was updated in the spring of 2020. Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit the goats!!

The Farm House

Spring is here and the flowers are blooming at The Farm House! This barn has been converted to a delightful, cozy farm house where guest come not only for the stay but also for the experience! It’s been said “there’s a bit of magic in the air” as you meander the long wooded drive through our private 33 acres to the house where our horses greet you upon arrival! This is the perfect place to call your home away from home.

This adults-only, semi-private tiny home compound is surrounded by an 8' decorative privacy fence on 3 sides, and the river on the 4th. Retreat to the mountains in this secluded white cottage on the farm. At our little white house, you’ll be able to gaze at the twinkling constellations while enjoying the fire pit, sit on the back porch and admire the Blue Ridge Parkway in the distance while listening to the creek, and live side by side with our farm’s prize-winning Brown Swiss cattle. *Please note the fireplace is not operational.
