When the Hobbit is away, you are welcome to stay! His shire is located in beautiful down town Sylva, NC. The front door is minutes away from trout streams, coffee shops, book stores, antique shops, numerous breweries, and restaurants! If you can manage to leave the comfort of our bed, put the kettle on, have some tea and curl up with a good book. Whip up a second breakfast on the hot plate. Town is a two minute walk. This is a great little efficiency by the river that offers a great porch overlooking the Pigeon River. This is the perfect getaway for two, in the mountains of Western North Carolina, who want somewhere to stay that is affordable but with all the amenities. We are located approximately 20 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, 20 minutes to the quaint town of Waynesville and 3 miles from Springdale at Cold Mountain Golf course. Asheville is a 30 minute drive.
