This is an absolute gem hidden amongst the trees of Cockatoo. A beautiful wood cottage nestled in the woods, so spacious, well appointed, airy, lots of light, great in any season. Quiet but at the appropriate time, you could watch and take great pictures of the famous Puffing Billy railway making its way past Felder Station which is just a short walk away. This is a great place to make as Headquarters for exploring the Dandenong and Yarra Valley regions. We spent three nights there and it was too soon. Kane and Brook are terrific hosts and made us feel at home with little kind touches, greeting us on arrival and made us feel right at home. This is a place not to be missed. Well done and thank you so much!

A truly beautiful experience staying at the Wild Orchid Cottage. It is evident to see the love and thought Pia has put into the place. The cottage is in a perfect location and the surroundings are majestic. Pia could not have been more helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay, for that we are so grateful.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt incredibly cozy. One of the absolute highlights was the spa tub — the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. It was clean, spacious, and made the whole experience feel extra luxurious. The location couldn’t have been better — close to everything but still quiet enough to feel like a relaxing retreat. Shops, restaurants, and attractions were all just a short walk or drive away. Liz was also very responsive and thoughtful, making check-in seamless and the whole stay stress-free. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and a bit of indulgence!

Rozi and Mustafa host such a beautiful space, what made the cottage different from other stays is the little touches left. The personalised key ring to remember the trip, the choccies, the diffusers and smells that kept the place smelling amazing, coffee and hot choccy pods. It felt super homey and honestly although the weather was grizzly we were not complaining about being in there for a good portion of the trip. The little things do not go unnoticed. 😁

The Windmill Barn is a truly unique and special property, set in the most stunning outdoor surrounds - honestly made me want to give up inner-city life and move to the hills! We had a lovely time at this cozy barn and enjoying a morning cuppa in the courtyard listening to the kookaburras and watching the sun rise. The only thing we thought was strange was in the listing it states outdoor amenity includes a firepit and private hot tub, but this wasn't there - maybe this used to be available but isn't anymore? Also a lovely continental breakfast was provided, would definitely book again!

We had such a fantastic stay. The house is so thoughtfully pieced together and Tricia was such an accomodating host. Heater on got arrival, bottle of wine from the winery next door and offered flexibility with checking in and out. Fantastic property and host!

We had an amazing weekend away at this cottage in Seville. It was also the perfect place to bring along our fur baby (dog); the backyard is well and truly fully fenced, and it was a relief to not have to worry about her exploring the backyard! The cottage itself is very cosy. As it's winter it did get quite cold but nothing the fire, heater or electric blankets couldn't fix! Shaun's place had everything we needed and everything was clearly well thought out. He was also very responsive and friendly as a host. All instructions were very clear. The cottage was also decorated really nicely. Overall, a really lovely stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at 'The Cottage' Location was absolutely perfect, we were able to walk to restuarants/cafes, shops, playground and the steam train. We instantly felt relaxed and comfortable, and the kids were excited about the mountain of lego and the teepee. Decor, including towels and bedding was divine, and the kitchen was well stocked with coffee and tea, and had all the conveniences you could need, including kids plates, bowls and cutlery. We will definitely be back!

More than happy to return to Chris's cottage, we really enjoy this location and the cottage is cosy, private and peaceful. we particularly like the additional parking space too, it helps if you have a trailer on as we did for this visit. Chris warmed up the house for our arrival along with lights and snacks. we'll be back (our home away from home)

We had a great stay at Tanglewood, we were visiting family on the area. Lovely place well kitted out very peaceful and tranquil and a good size. Roslyn is lovely and a great host. We would definitely recommend and return

Definitely would stay again, the location was perfect. Surrounded by trees and birds. The garden was huge and fully fenced which was a big win as we have an adventurous beagle. The shack was warm, cosy and well equipped. The toilet was outside but it only added to the fun of escaping the city life.

This was our 3rd visit and we love it. Such a great place for little kids. My boys love exploring the yard and surroundings, as well as playing with the dinosaurs and dragons. I love the fire place, out door fire, scenery and peacefulness. We all loved seeing and feeding many rosella's outside the front door. A very special experience. Kester is so lovely to deal with and goes out of her way to accommodate your needs. We certainly hope to return.

Very comfortable. Enjoyed watching tv from the four poster bed, and from the spa. Also loved sitting out back watching sheep grazing. And the breakfast provided was fresh and very generous.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the serene sounds of nature, including the occasional kookaburra laugh (yes, it lives up to its name!). The cottage itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully set up with thoughtful touches throughout. The bed was comfy, the kitchen well-equipped, and we loved the little sunroom that made for perfect lazy morning coffees. Plenty of natural light, and that lovely mountain air made us sleep like babies. Alex was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze with clear instructions and great local tips. We also appreciated the small things: fresh linens, good heating (it got chilly in the evening!), and some local recommendations that made our trip even better. Perfect for a weekend getaway, a couple’s retreat, or even a solo recharge mission.

It was a wonderful place to spend the night with family. More than ample space to host a lovely family dinner and board games afterwards. The fireplace made it all the more cosy.

We stayed for a week at Fermoy Cottage. It was much more spacious than we expected. A very comfortable open plan lounge, well equipped kitchen, very pleasant patio. Good shower, comfy bed, quiet neighborhood. Healesville is a great base for exploring the Yarra Valley, and has some nice shopping and meal options.

My family and I had the most wonderful few days staying in Darian’s lodge. It’s a beautiful, warm space with absolutely everything you need on a holiday. The b&b supplies were fantastic, and the mini bar was a great addition! It saved us having to find a bottle shop after a very big drive. Our daughter loved the bird feeder and wandering around the property discovering the many wombat holes. We’d definitely visit again in future.

Awesome stay just outside of central Melbourne. The ‘East Wing’ was just as described and suited all of our needs. Lovely and clean and all of the amenities you would need for a stay, we felt right at home. Catherine was a fantastic host who helped us with all of our questions and let us say hello to her very friendly greyhound. 10 minute walk to Spotswood station and 15/20 minute train ride gets you into central. Catherine kindly left out some Myki cards to help out with the transport. Thanks so much! Will recommend to anyone wanting to explore Melbourne

Charlotte’s Country Cottage is fantastic. It is situated in vibrant Brunswick, between Lygon Street and Sydney Road. Yet, it is a super private and in a quiet location, accessed down a locked private pathway, servicing only 2 properties. I felt super safe, given I was at Charlottes Country Cottage by myself, out all day and returning alone at night. The Cottage was immaculate, ultra clean, exactly as represented by the photos. When next back in Melbourne, I definitely know where I’m staying.
