Period cottage in a area of outstanding natural beauty within the Peak District on the banks of the river Dane. Lovely views and walking straight from the door along the river, through the woods and up onto the Roaches, Tittersworth ( Bird Sanctuary circular walk around the reservoir, 5 miles) Ashmount is strictly for 2 guests as you are in my home albeit the space is yours for the time of your stay i live in a totally separate part of the property I am close enough should you require help

This romantic retreat is set in the heart of the picturesque village of Butterton which overlooks the beautiful Manifold Valley in the Peak District. The lanes are lined with pretty sandstone cottages and an idyllic ford runs through the cobbled street below the cottage and a great country pub is round the corner. This cosy hideaway is an ideal couples escape featuring a stunning bedroom with vaulted beamed ceiling and luxury features throughout. It has a boutique hotel feel in rural heaven.

Lovely stone-built two bedroom cottage in converted barn and piggery, on a 20 acre farm overlooking Shutlingsloe. The farmhouse and cottage were renovated in 2019, but the cottage retains a rustic charm - stone built and with a stone roof, and some barn features. Walks to Shutlingsloe, Grandbach Mill, Lud's Church, the Cat and Fiddle, and Three Shire Head can all be accessed from the farm, as can the local pub and Blaze Farm for ice cream (challenging walks, includes some walking on road).
