Cozy tidy house in a nice location, perfect for our group's weekend stay. The host responded to messages very quickly, and we thought the price/quality ratio was excellent.

Very nice place to stay! We stayed 3 nights and we loved it! Perfect for some relax with a lot of walkable routes, the sauna in the house and right on the lake. The only problem we had was with the wifi, who wasn’t really working. We can definitely recommend this place :)

We stayed for one night and the listing really matched the description 😊 The place was clean, with good travel instructions, we were able to get there easily, and we got a good steam in the yard sauna!

We were a group of 5 people and had a very pleasant stay in Elena’s cottage. The kitchen was well equipped. The house is specious and view on the lake is great. Elena was super helpful and easy to reach.

It's a wonderful secluded place with easy access to a supermarket and a hotel complex with outdoor activities. The houseis really warm and has everything you need. A great combination of value and quality, we will be happy to come again 😊

We had a great time. My husband and I are traveling with our daughter (10 months old). We felt like at home from the beginning. It was nice to make a fire, grill, go to the sauna and swim in the lake. The house is very quiet and you have a great view from all rooms. The rooms upstairs weren't that big but there's an incredible amount of storage space. Communication with Katja was extremely good. We highly recommend this property.

This property is peaceful, clean and cozy. It corresponded to the information provided about the property: The glazed balcony and the spacious river landscape visible from all windows crown the ensemble. For those traveling by car, a parking space is available at the same price. Life is made easier by S-market across the street. It is open Mon-Sat from 7 am to 10 pm, Sun from 9 am to 10 pm. The distance between the accommodation and the city center is short. Just cross the river along the Suvantos bridge and you are already at the market. If you wish, you can leave your car in the parking lot and move around carefree on foot without parking problems. Communication with the hosts went smoothly without any problems. Our stay at Emmy's cottage was perfect. A wonderful place in a truly beautiful part of the world. The cottage had everything that you would want of a Finnish mökki holiday, and was the perfect base to explore Savonlinna and the whole Saimaa region. It made for a memorable experience. A perfect small mökki for a summer getaway! With a private access to the lake with sand, great sauna, barbecue spot and a beautiful forest with loads of blueberries and wind strawberries around. It's maybe better for someone with a car, because the closest grocery store is 6km away, and to get drinking water you have to boat 2 km, which was not a problem for us, but the boat and bikes at the property were not in the best state, but still usable. The house has everything you need, but is very small -- I feel like even though there are technically 3 sleeping places, 3 adults will use up all the oxygen at night ) but for 2 adults or 2+1 kid it's perfect. We felt very rested afterwards! There's also a very nice hiking trail nearby.

Our group of seven spent four nights at Miia's cottage on the shores of Linnansaari National Park. We had an excellent time! The main cottage is on the small side for seven, the three kids were going to sleep in a loft space but with the noise challenges of lofts we elected to have them sleep in the sauna cottage, which has a beautiful sleeping space. We took full advantage of the ping pong table, darts, hot tub and sauna(s). We also rowed over to nearby islands several times (tons of mushrooms growing over there!). There were no other people nearby, really, so it felt very private. The back deck is perfect for lounging and eating meals when the weather is good. Miia helped us find a local fishing guide and gave us other helpful recommendations. We popped south to Savonlinna one day to walk the town and have a meal. All in all, we highly recommend a stay at Miia's!

The place was amazing. We were there as family of 5. Children loved the place. Peaceful, scenic view. We had everything we needed. 10/10 stay

We visited Eija's cottage for the second time. The second time was as good as the previous one, the weather a little cooler. We relaxed, cooked, slept and saunaed. For the sake of pet friendliness, our dog was allowed to come along. He enjoyed his free time and also fell in love with the place. Eija is a good host, responds quickly and assists if needed. They can also give you tips on the place, if you need them.
