RUGGÅRD - Farm-holiday

Ruggård is an old farm, located on the edge of Vejle Ådal, only 18 km from Kolding, Vejle and Billund (Legoland). Here you have the optimal starting point for trips in the most beautiful Danish nature. The area offers hiking trails and cycling and horseback riding routes. There are many excursion options, but also time to stay on the farm. Children LOVE being here. Here, outdoor life is prioritized and therefore there is no TV in the home (parents thank us). Come and experience the rural idyll and tranquility and greet the farm's animals.

Great location by good beach and close to town

Summer home for rent, right on the beach View to the water and the beach is pretty much right in the backyard. You have the whole place to yourself, 130 sq.m., spread over 2 floors. It consists of a kitchen/living room, entrances, living room, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and a nice large garden with terrace. About 1.5 km to the ice house, where you can also pick up breakfast bread and a small kiosk with barbecue bar, which is open all summer and about 1.5 km to the campsite with pool, which you can use for a small amount.

Children can play in the playground or outdoor areas while adults enjoy a quiet moment with coffee or wine in the sun. The beach is a few steps away, and Hejlsminde Harbor and Badehotel can be reached in less than 10 minutes on foot. Close to sights such as Skamlingsbanken, Christiansfeld, Koldinghus and Trapholt. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy life at your own pace.

House on a hilly, one cottage in a unique location, here is peace , birdsong and the opportunity for beautiful sunsets. It's an old house, decorated in a retro style. Great starting point for those who just want to sit and be entertained by nature's performance, or excursions in South Jutland. Winter insulated, wood-burning stove and wifi. Finally use the wood-burning stove, firewood behind the house. There are extra cushions , toys , sunbeds, etc. in the shed. Use it. Remember to bring bed linen, towels.

Yes, it's tiny. The double bed is tiny (120 cm X 200 cm). The extra bed is tiny. The sink is tiny. But it will not be a tiny experience. The surrounding landscape is huge and plentiful. It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!
