The Old Lamp Room used to store the lamps for the lighthouse until it became automatic. It is now an annexe to the old Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage, which is our family home. Guests have their own front door and are free to use the small front courtyard garden which has a bistro table and chairs. Situated up a small path, behind the lighthouse and moments from the beach. The high street with its shops, restaurants and pubs is a 5 minute stroll away. An ideal cosy bolt hole.

A huge thank you to Catherine and Dan, we had a super stay for the weekend. Beautiful location, peaceful and stunning views. Communication from the point of booking was quick and friendly. The barn at Primrose Farm was so easy to find thanks to Catherine’s instructions. Warm and welcoming hosts, who couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome and our two dogs had a lovely time roaming the garden and fields behind. Thank you both so much, we will be back! We had a really wonderful relaxing stay, because the accommodation is raised up, you feel like you are in the trees on the balcony area, we were greeted with ample birdsong. The place is spotlessly clean & fixtures and fittings are great quality, the kitchen had everything wee needed and more. The bed & bedding were super comfy and we had a lovely couple of days exploring the local coast line, relaxing outside and enjoying the games room below. Cannot rate this little gem highly enough, we didn't want to come home.

We had a great family holiday,in lovely spacious accommodation, with stunning views in a fabulous part of the country. The property had everything that was needed and more, the children loved the lego and games room, and space to be themselves,the adults loved the well equipped kitchen, comfortable lounge,and bedroom, with plenty of space for all, with room to find personal space too. the location was spot on for exploring the Suffolk area. The swimming pool and games room were good too and we took full advantage of the pool with the children being keen swimmers. Than you Anna for providing a lovely Airbnb. Martin

We've had a really lovely short break. The cottage is comfy, cheerful and fun. My kids loved getting to have their own rooms! Wangford is a nice village with local pub and shop, plus really very easy access to Southwold, Lowestoft and Minsmere etc. Great for families and would suit couples too
