Staying in farm was a great experience. Claire & Alistair are amazing hosts. Alistair told me some amazing stories from his experience, took us to show his farm and some really beautiful views from the property. Highly recommended.

It was my second time staying at the Eco Village, and my second cottage. My partner and I have loved our stays here so so much, it really is the perfect getaway. Kali is so helpful when it comes to starting/maintaining the fire and we felt the instructions were very easy to follow. Thank you again! we will be back!

This was our (10 High School Friends from the 1970’s) second stay at Cathy and Peter’s property. Didn’t disappoint. Beautiful peaceful place, beautiful surroundings, fantastic home and cottage, clean with everything you need. Felt very at home. Thanks Cathy and Peter. Can’t wait to come back again.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It’s very cosy and clean. There’s everything you need in the kitchen. There were even games and colouring books for the kids. There are farms around you so it’s perfect if you want to escape the hustle of the city. Just a quick drive to all the sights in the area. Kylie is a very friendly and helpful host, always responded quickly. We would definitely come back.

Extremely comfortable apartment in a great location, just a short stroll to town and all the shops/pubs/cafes. We stayed during the Kings Birthday weekend which was cold and wet and absolutely loved the fire and how cosy it was! Would definitely recommend and will be back!

What a fabulous property! Secluded yet so close to several towns. Beautiful country home that looks even better in real life. The neighbouring farm made the stay more exiting for the kids and we loved the feel of the home and the backyard fire pit and bbq area. We have recommended this property to all our family and friends. We look forward to staying again next time.

Barbara and Brad’s farm was a beautiful place to stay for the Ballarat marathon weekend. It’s a bit like a motel- we had the 4 person suite which was 2 double beds sharing a bathroom and kitchenette. There was another family of 10 that had booked the rooms next door. The main kitchen, fire pit and garden is shared so if there’s another large group you will definitely see them. The rooms were super clean and thoughtfully renovated, Barbara has clearly put in lots of thought with double glazed windows, split heating/cooling, filtered water in the taps, noise insulation (we couldn’t hear the other groups at all) etc. the garden is also beautifully landscaped and overlooks the sheep docks and mountains. Very serene and peaceful. The kitchen is also super well stocked with bbq we used to make burgers, fridge, stove, microwave, plates, mugs utensils etc for cooking dinner. There is also nespresso machine with pods as well as lots of tea and hot chocolate, milk. 25 mins from Ballarat.

What a beautiful, peaceful cabin to spend some solitude in. My friend and I loved the peacefulness, the verandah and the closeness to many towns. Check in instructions were clear and felt very comfortable for our stay. Thankyou!

I was after somewhere that was filled with character, had an essence of relaxation and was in the middle of no where but close to town … this ticked all of these boxes and more. I’m still talking about this weekend, a couple of weeks on. Beautifully crafted with heart, I felt at peace the minute I walked in-such a rejuvenating weekend. All the amenities, cosy nooks and comfy reading spots you could ask for. I’ll be back!

My family and I went here to celebrate our dad’s 60th and it was perfect! We brought along our dogs and it was a joy to have them there with us. The property had beautiful views and gorgeous farm animals which made our experience so much better than we could’ve even imagined. Thank-you so much Ricardo for hosting us!

9 of us stayed here over a rainy few days for Easter. The house was perfect for relaxing by the fire heater, board games, reading and relaxing. A well-appointed kitchen and a large bbq with a huge timber for large family dining. Bedrooms and beds very comfortable. We loved grocery shopping, cafes and strolling around Creswick just 9 mins drive and also visiting amazing Daylesford about 20 mins away. There’s a great roadside potato stall on the Midland Hwy in Newlyn Nth - you won’t miss it if coming from Ballarat or Creswick.

A wonderful weekend at Liz and Keith’s barn stay! Despite cold weather, a very well insulated cabin kept us warm with the cozy fireplace. The place had everything we needed!! Some thoughtful extra touches including some eggs provided by the cute chooks on the property which were so nice to eat in the morning. My partner and I had such a lovely time. Thank you Liz and Keith for allowing us to have such a relaxing time away as well as letting us meet your beautiful alpacas!!

We stayed at the Brooker Tiny home in May 2025. It was autumn, and we had clear and chilly nights which was perfect for lighting fires inside the fireplace, campfire and the sauna. Brooker was compact but designed so well that it was comfortable for two adults and a chocolate labrador- plenty of space for lounging, reading and relaxation. The sauna was amazing with the view of the forest. The peaceful surrounds had walking trails into the forest at your doorstep! All of us enjoyed our stay and wish we could've stayed a little longer next to the Wombat forest. Thank you for hosting :)

An amazing very well appointed cottage with every item you could need. For a small two person studio sized cottage it offered enough space both inside and out to chill. Amazing is the best way to describe it. Peaceful, comfortable and fresh & clean. I could only recommend this place highly, for a couple looking for a quiet retreat and peaceful couple of nights it was ideal. Heather was responsive and the whole process was easy. Well done Heather on a great set up!

Our stay at the Vicarage was absolute perfection. From the moment we arrived—lights on, music playing—we felt instantly relaxed. The home is a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and charm and Dean is an incredibly thoughtful host. The fires were set, the hot tub was ready, and a generous selection of provisions welcomed us. There were no tedious rules, just an open invitation to unwind and enjoy. The gardens were gorgeous too with plenty of quiet spots to enjoy a book or a cuppa, and Sammy the cat made us feel right at home. Every detail was focused on comfort and ease. We (reluctantly!) left feeling refreshed and are already dreaming of coming back. Thanks Dean for an unforgettable stay, you have truly perfected the art of hosting. This accommodation was amazing and perfect for a getaway with close ones! The place was super clean and well furnished, perfecting for hosting. Super easy check in and out as well! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! It was a lovely spacious area for 10 friends! Host was lovely and great communication! Even though the space was so close to the neighbouring property you couldn’t even tell!

We have stayed at Arda Cluggen twice now for family gatherings. The house absolutely lends itself to bulk numbers. We fill all the bedrooms and never really get in each other’s way. There is plenty of space and we are able to use the inside and outside areas. We have family who are impaired either visually or physically and Susan has always been helpful in assisting us with information as to how we can accommodate each one. We loved walking in again this visit it was just like coming home. A beautiful property lovely and quiet. We just love it.. Thank you Susan for sharing your home with us.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming Charter Farm house! The property was beautifully decorated, blending classic old-world charm with modern amenities. It was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our group. The kids loved the trampoline, while the men had a great time on the tennis court. A perfect retreat for families looking to relax and enjoy some outdoor fun. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay. The place was clean, comfy, and had everything we needed. The fireplace added such a cozy touch. One of the highlights was definitely being able to get up close to the donkeys, such a special experience, Lion the cat was the friendliest cat we’ve ever met! Overall, we were really happy with our stay, and my son absolutely loved it. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend Neil and Judy’s place, we were very well looked after, communication was excellent, it was easy to get to and they had everything we needed - plus some treats in the fridge and homemade bread! They offered to get the fire going upon our arrival so it was nice and warm when we got in. There are endless treasures to look at inside, and an amazing record collection. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return. Thank you!
