We had such a cozy stay in this absolute gem, a little slice of heaven looking out over the sea. The cabin itself had everything we needed for a winter long weekend, extremely comfy bed, warm fireplace (with heating if needed), beautiful big bath and a really well appointed kitchen. A close drive to Apollo bay for shopping etc if you need but absolutely peaceful and private surrounded by a beautiful garden. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and we hope we will be back soon

Stunning views!!!! Ruth’s place is one of a kind. Laying in bed watching the stars at night and then sunrise in the morning. Spectacular!! Comfy place, everything you need to bunker down in winter. So close to the Otways and all the fabulous hiking. We’ll be back!

We loved our stay! Beautiful space to enjoy for the weekend. The goats, fireplace and view from back deck were highlights. Hopefully we will be back soon! 😊

Our stay at the little house on the hill was outstanding! Bruce was very easy to communicate with and made the experience very seamless. The place was very warm and cosy, and came with very good amenities. we were particularly impressed with the complimentary breakfast Bruce provided - it was such a treat! The location was great too - just a 3 min drive to town or a 20 min walk. Views were stunning as well. Our only regret was not staying longer - so we will be back! Thanks Bruce for having us!

We had a lovely stay at Brigitte and John’s cabin. The house was warm and clean. I especially appreciate the warm bathroom in this winter. We also saw kangaroos and hot air balloons over the breathtaking Yarra Valley. Brigitte and John were warm and welcoming. The little touches like the fig roll ups and chocolate cake that she baked made the kids’ day. The location was quiet but near to everything. Woolworths was 4 mins away by car. Would love to stay here again if we get the chance.

We had a lovely time at Fiona’s thoughtful cottage. We particularly loved the wood fire heater, vintage iPod (with every artist ever) and fresh bread upon arrival. Just a short drive to Daylesford - it was the perfect little weekend getaway from the city. Thank you! We hope to be back one day :)

We had a truly memorable stay at this beautiful farmhouse. From the moment we arrived, the owner was incredibly responsive and attentive, regularly checking in to ensure that everything was in order and that we were comfortable. This level of hospitality made us feel very well taken care of throughout our stay. The house itself is stunning—set in a serene farm environment that offers both relaxation and a unique countryside experience. Our children especially enjoyed the opportunity to interact with and feed the farm animals, which added a special and memorable touch to the trip. Inside, the home is tastefully designed with a modern yet warm aesthetic. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and the house is extremely well equipped with everything we could possibly need—from kitchen essentials to comfortable furnishings. It felt like a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. This stay exceeded our expectations in every way. We would highly recommend it to families!

We stayed six nights at Bogaroo Cottage and loved every minute! Such a cozy, comfy, quiet and clean cottage. We toured the area, visiting great wineries and quaint country towns. We clocked up a few miles but Bogaroo was a great place from which to launch our daily explorations, and such a welcoming homely place to come home to each evening. The cottage was equipped with all the things we needed to heat up our pre-prepared meals. Sarah was a great host; easy to communicate with and we knew she was there if we needed anything at all. Sarah even gave us a heads up about the best place on the property to view the Australis Borealis (Southern Lights) event happening one evening during our stay. If we revisit the area we’ll definitely love to stay at Sarah’s cottage.

Such a beautiful location and space. We especially loved relaxing by the fire! It’s a quiet location but close enough to nearby towns and wineries. A lovely relaxing weekend away in perfect accom!

Great place to stay if you like animals! Comfy accommodation, make sure you bring plenty of firewood in winter, its very cosy having a fire. Nice quiet surroundings, very easy access to the national park. Excellent for a winter weekend away.

The farmhouse itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sound of birds and spending mornings feeding the sheep was so refreshing—a true break from city life. The hosts were incredibly kind, giving us tips on how to interact with the sheep and even sharing fresh eggs from their chickens! If you're looking for a relaxing, nature-filled getaway with a touch of farm life, this is the place to book. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be returning! 10/10 experience! 🐑💚

Beautiful stay on Paramoor winery. The cottage was comfortable, warm with heating and a wood-burner, and the property is really peaceful. 10 minutes drive from Kyneton, Lancefield and Woodend, and wineries. The wine at Paramoor was delicious - we had a lovely tasting with Sam. Thank you!

Believe all the 5 star reviews, this place is a gem! We can't wait to come back one day. We enjoyed cooking in the fantastically well appointed kitchen, the bed was comfortable and the whole place was super cosy. Loved sitting by the fireplace (and on the heated toilet seat!) when the weather was super chilly outside and my husband enjoyed the sauna experience for a small extra charge. This place is full of character, exactly as described, and feels warm and welcoming. The little cake and chocolate waiting for us on arrival plus fresh farm eggs delivered to the door were a bonus. Thank you Anneke for a wonderful little getaway.

I booked at very short notice and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house is immaculate, and the location of very picturesque. I would totally recommend for a peaceful break.

This is the most perfect farm stay. The lodge was secluded and very cosy. It was lovely to have a morning coffee on the couch overlooking the hills and watching the cows and alpacas. We were obsessed with the heated flooring in the bathroom 😂. The wind was quite strong but felt warm and cosy inside. Highly recommend

We had the best stay at The Kingsley! Our family of 7 adults stayed to celebrate my Mum’s 60th Birthday. The house was very comfortable, warm & beautifully furnished. The layout was spacious & perfect for our family. We were spoilt with the underfloor heating in the bathrooms! On arrival we were treated with some breakfast goods & a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge, thoroughly enjoyed! The kitchen was very well equipped, including spices & cookbooks. The beds were comfortable & cosy. Outside, the grounds were very well kept, including a fire pit. Both the wood fire inside & the fire pit had everything needed to get them started. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing stay at an amazing Airbnb! Highly recommend this location if you have a wedding planned in the local area, or if you need a quiet getaway, while still being close to Eltham. Make time to come here during winter, the firepit and heating from the fireplace will warm you right up!

Michelle’s place was beautiful, clean and in amazing surroundings. They were delightful hosts, being available when you wanted but gave you privacy otherwise. Our son loved the animals and the marshmallows on the fire pit. Definitely will be going there again.

Jan’s place is a real gem. Better than the photos, with fantastic views of the farm and beyond. The decor is eclectic and bright, the place is clean, the kitchen is entirely sufficient for a short stay, and the fireplace and bath are lovely features. Jan was very helpful when we communicated with her, and we had a wonderful stay.

Mark was gracious knowledgeable and helpful. The space is beautiful cozy and warm on a chilly winter day. If you love birds don’t forget to open the kitchen window blinds. We had a daily show available front and back (although binoculars do make a difference). A magical space for animals and quiet.
