New Farm Shepherds Huts and Camping

Ahmad GhassanRating, 5 stars2 months ago
It was a very wonderful holiday and the host was a very friendly and elegant person and the place was very elegant and clean and I loved the services provided there such as the wood stove and the handmade twilight and the quiet place and we loved Harry the dog All services were available and the thing I liked most about the whole vacation was that everything there was handmade. Thank you and your wonderful hospitality.

Shepherd's hut near Abergavenny in Brecon Beacons

NehaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Carol and George’s Shepherd hut is a little piece of heaven. It is tucked away in a quiet place between fields and mountains with endless views and sunshine. We could hear nothing but the birdsong and cattle. The garden is private and has the most stunning sunset view. We could not have asked for a better break from the bustling city life. Carol and George gave us a warm welcome on arrival which was a sweet personal touch. We would definitely return!!

Shepherd's Hut-large kitchen/dining area + views

HollyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

Luxury Railway carriage with own private hot tub

TobyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This little gem was quiet, and a great place for a nice night or few away. Hot tub was great, especially for the price we paid as a lot of other places were extortionate. Our carriage was very private in the corner and we heard no noise during our stay and slept very comfortably and felt safe through - very comfy beds too, we all slept great! Joey was an extremely good host, allowed us to check in early, very responsive to any questions we had and greeted us when he saw us on the site. Only downside was the pub close by wasn’t great, nothing to do with the actual site though as it’s not run by them but the atmosphere in there wasn’t great and the staff were not too friendly either - cheap drinks, but very expensive food £15-25 for one meal. We drove to a chip-shop called “The Old Stables Fish and Chip shop” which was amazing, our whole meal for 3 people came to £29, with huge portions too - food was absolutely delicious and we ate them in our private garden at the carriage. Great place

Stunning railway carriage with private hot tub

ZoeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We have had a lovely few days staying here. Was exactly as described and we made use of the hot tub and fire pit every day. The communal building would be very useful on wet days or larger gatherings. Will come back another time.

luxury railway carriage with stunning views

LouiseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Superb accommodation and stay. Recommended for couples, family and friends due to the various options and fabulous communal space. We stayed in a carriage with a kitchenette and private bathroom. A bit cosy for 4 of us plus a dog but was fine for the two nights we were there especially with the larger space available to use also. Absolutely recommend the Crown Inn just up the road where they had a fabulous Sunday menu (not just roast dinners which was fantastic for fussy teens) and the food served until 7pm allowed us to check in at the glampsite and unpack before walking up for dinner. Superb roast! Met Joey as he was at the pub and he and staff at the pub were hugely friendly and accommodating. My son has already said he wants to return (hot tub next time!). Thanks so much - I have already recommended to people.

Shepherd Hut in a Herefordshire Cider Orchard

ElinorRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the most gorgeous weekend staying at the Hut in the Orchard. We especially loved the two building set up which really connects you to the outdoors. Everything was beautiful - the cosy bedroom with an incredibly comfy bed, the fire pit for outdoor cooking and star gazing and the thoughtful welcome treats of cider and scrumptious apple cider cake! The view from the chairs any time of day but particularly when the evening sun trickles through the orchard canopy is something very special. Gary and Kate were the perfect hosts, so friendly and on hand for any queries but also leaving us to our own devices. There’s also a cracking pub just up the footpath with wood fired pizzas and a dangerous quantity of local ciders. The fact that you can wander through the local farm’s cider orchards is really unique and adds to the magic. We will most definitely be back!

“Wild-Wood” Shepherds Hut

HRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had the most wonderful stay at Mary-Anne and James' beautiful shepherd's hut. They were incredibly accommodating and responsive, checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We were celebrating our minimoon, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting to unwind and relax. The lake, hot tub, and outdoor bath were all such a treat and meeting their adorable dog Ruby was the cherry on top! Our only regret is not staying longer. We’d highly recommend this peaceful retreat to anyone looking for a special getaway.

The Dingle Den - Cosy Hut in Idyllic Retreat

NaomiRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely time in this unusual little corner of the world. Nick was there to greet us and show us around. He was kind, helpful and a perfect host, we felt extremely welcome. We loved the sauna and the hot tub, which does require some attention as it is reliaht on burning wood, however wood is provided. The place was clean and cute, very small but we spent most of pur time outside, which is ample and pleasant. Our dogs loved running around the grounds and were made welcome. The pool was a highlight, it's not for everyone but for a nature lover i was thrilled by the thriving colony of newts. We really loved our stay with Nick and we will certainly return. Recommend especially for a quiet get away, nature lovers, time away from ghe rat race. Thank you, Nick!

Luxury Dog friendly Shepherds Hut electric Jacuzzi

JohnRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had an amazing stay at Louise's place. it was so peaceful in lovely surroundings. We just wanted to relax for a few days without doing a great deal and it was an ideal place to do exactly that. The guide to the local area and amenities was especially helpful. slightly disappointed with the... weather! but only to be expected in the UK! still managed a dip in the pool which was superb!, tried a game of tennis and enjoyed the hottub. it really was a lovely stay, waking up to the ponies and wildlife was amazing too! would highly recommend Louise as a host

Shepherd's Rest | Cosy & modern countryside hut

DeniseRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Shepherds Rest was even better than it looked in the pictures. The hut was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Rachel left us some local produce which was very tasty and a nice touch. The setting was lovely as well , it was very peaceful. You can walk down to the river and over the old bridge. The information folder was very helpful. On the last evening we were joined by 2 sheep in the paddock at the front of the hut. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some peace and quiet and some lovely scenery.

The Shepherd's Hut

EmRating, 5 stars7 months ago
It was lovely and peaceful! Just what we needed for a break and to switch off. We loved the view and if we would've ventured off for a walk there was a public bridleway right next to where we were. Overall it's perfect for those looking for somewhere to switch off, relax and reconnect with nature.

The Shepherds Hut at Tipi Adventure

ElisabethRating, 5 stars48 months ago
The Shepherd's Hut has everything you need for luxury camping! Lovely interior with dreamy touches such as sash windows, high-quality bedding, and enamelware. Well designed and clear handbook, and friendly and helpful hosts. We camped in style, cooked outdoors on the butane camping stove, provided, and roasted marshmallows (also provided) at night over the fire pit . It was also classy touch having your own WC and shower allotted to Shepherd's Hut. Fantastic location, 5 minute shuffle to a gravel beach on the banks of the River Wye, great for canoeists or just lazing around watching the swans.

Gypsy Caravan in Vineyard, Bath-Sauna-Dog friendly

AnthonyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We needed a much needed peaceful break and that was exactly what we got. The peace and quiet going to sleep and waking with birdsong with sheep bleating was pure therapy for us. It was nice to go into Abergavenny one day which is a lovely town with lots of nice shops with a beautiful park with wild meadows and the castle of course. Nick gave us a warm welcome with free range homegrown eggs and very moorish chocolate brownies!! The bunch of wild flowers was very much appreciated by Jacqui! We didn’t want to leave.

Jude’s place is absolutely beautiful, the view from the huts is amazing. The huts were nicely decorated and cosy. She even came to my rescue when I couldn’t light a fire 🤣 and she was incredibly understanding when I had to leave early due to a family emergency. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place and I hope to come back when everything is settled.

'Graham', the Gentleman's Shepherd Hut

KellyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Ruth was very good at answering my questions upon arrival we were shown around by her husband which was a lovely touch. The accommodation was just as described, it was very clean, the site had warm showers clean toilets and also a lovely little area with benches, fridge and gas cookers to boil water. The cabin itself had all utensils and equipment for cooking on the fire. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. The way it is off grid but is so equipped is amazing I love the eco friendliness about the whole site. It was just beautiful. Thank you for being so friendly and approachable.
