We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in the Normandy area. It was perfect for our group of 9—spacious, stylishly decorated, and incredibly well-equipped. The house is located in a charming Norman village not far from Bayeux and a 15 min walk from Omaha Beach, which made it a fantastic base for exploring the region. From there, we were able to visit several other beautiful towns, including Caen, Honfleur, and Étretat. The location truly allowed us to enjoy both the history and natural beauty of Normandy. The amenities were excellent: we especially loved the peaceful patio, the available bikes, and the overall cozy yet elegant feel of the home. While you do need a car to get around, the property has enough space to comfortably park two vehicles. It was a truly memorable experience, and we would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and authentic stay in Normandy!

Christopher, Thank you for all your kindnesses toward us. The roses & peonies were a great surprise, even though we did not experience any inconvenience from the front door hiccup. Your sterling character as a host showed through just as the beach light reflected off the antique silver objects around the salon. The turret bed was very spacious and comfortable as the linen bedcovers were a treat! The nearby fish market and shops were very convenient and your well furnished kitchen allowed for some great cuisine to dine-in. You did a wonderful preservation project on the installation of the new windows, that truly showcased the villa and the incredible beachside location. We were able to relax and enjoy the happy sounds of the children and families. Trouville is a wonderful place that we hope - someday - we are able to return with our grandchildren and children! We cannot say enough great things about my stay at Sophie’s place — it was truly exceptional from start to finish. Sophie was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and responsive, making us feel at home the moment we arrived. Her hospitality set the tone for a warm and relaxing experience. Pleasant quiet stay. Impeccable and spacious accommodation. The hosts are very available and attentive. The pool area is incredible, sheltered from the wind despite average temperatures. A kind of microclimate operates in this place. i recommend it.

Hi The property was great for the 2 of us and as with us was ideal for motorcycles as it has underground secure parking with a lift opposite straight up to the apartment . 15-20 minute walk along the sea front into Cabourg . I would have liked normal beds but the fold down couches were also ok . I would stay there again .

A great country house, one of the few in the area with a heated outdoor pool. We were very pleased with the hospitality of Dalphine, a simple and exemplary hostess.

I was visiting Normandy for the fourth time to visit my uncle and godfather's grave a few miles away at Douvre la Delivrande and the British Normandy memorial along the coast at Ver-sur-mer. It was a 500m walk to the memorials and the beach at Hermanville-sur-mer and we also visited Lion-sur-mer about 1500m in a westerly direction along the beach

We had a great time in a spotless apartment, recently renovated, with sea views. No car needed, everything is within walking distance, we enjoyed the dike and the sandy beach. Thanks to Christelle for her welcome, guidelines and advice.

Beautiful views and well-catered. Check in was easy with Katrin who spoke very good English, which was good because our French isn't great! Cabourg itself is lovely and only a 5-10 min walk away.

We had a very pleasant stay in this charming duplex, really well located. We only had to go out and walk a few steps before arriving on the beach. It was perfect for us and our children! We were just a little disappointed with the communication with the hosts before our stay. We sent two messages that remained unanswered, which is unfortunate. In any case, we recommend this accommodation!

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of space, well equipped, very comfortable beds and a perfect location! We walked to the Sword Beach Memorial Service early on the anniversary. Our visit to the local British Military Cemetery (again we walked) was very moving. Ideal for getting out and about and we visited numerous historical places; Caen, Bayeux, Omaha Beach, Pégasus Bridge - it was great and so nice to go back to a comfortable home and share the evening. We ought to add that the beach, which is on the doorstep, is beautiful and sandy, only one of us was brave enough to go in the sea though 😁. We would recommend to anyone looking for a D-Day beaches trip.
