Holiday rentals with a pool in Hersonissos

Lia was so helpful and amazing during our stay. Fast responses when asked questions, she provided us with not only comfort but made us feel like we are at home. We didn’t have a car so lia was kind enough to help us in every way possible. Lia was the best hostess we could have asked for and we are so grateful for her. Definitely the best place we have ever booked and we will definitely be recommending this to others and we will come back for sure!

We can highly recommend this accommodation. It's tucked away in a very secluded spot, which makes it wonderfully peaceful. At the same time, you can reach restaurants and a mini market in just a few minutes. A car is essential! The garden is stunning. The biodiversity is incredible. There's always something new to discover. The house is quite small and simply furnished, but that was absolutely fine. Everything was clean, and that's what matters most. The long driveway leading to the house can be a bit intimidating—it just slopes down without any railing or guard. But that’s just part of the Cretan charm. Giannis was always very friendly and helpful—thank you for everything! We also got to know the neighboring family and even visited them. Such kind people. And the animals! Aphroditi the horse, a peacock, chickens, and turkeys—our daughter loved them. Overall a great experience. We were very happy and would definitely recommend it. Who knows—maybe we’ll be back in a few years!

We had a great time at the Airbnb. The owner had taken care of the transfer from the airport and at the location we were greeted for our check-in. The house is exactly the same as in the pictures, clean and everything we needed was there! The outside area was our favourite and we enjoyed the pool 7 days straight. There are many things to do on the island but we really needed to chill and relax and this house was perfect for that. It was less than 10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants and the route was well lit by street lights. The owner brought us delicious food on multiple occasions, pasta, pastries and pizza. Honestly, if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Crete, I would highly recommend booking this place. I am already thinking about coming back with my parents. Thanks again for taking such good care of us!

The best, most luxe Airbnb experience! 🥹 From the epic views and immaculate landscaping (with butterflies everywhere!) to the private pool + tennis court to the incredible suite with comfortable bed, spacious / modern living + kitchen spaces and endless amenities. This place has it all and is in absolute paradise. We were at peace the whole time. We loved the outdoor shower, free laundry, local village bakeries / cafes & restaurants, total privacy, local provided olive oil (made by the host!), and friendly hosts. Our stay with Alexis and Nina was really fantastic and exceeded all our expectations. From the first moment we felt very welcome: we were warmly welcomed with a coffee, something tasty and a warm welcome full of enthusiasm. Alexis and Nina took extensive time to provide us with valuable tips about the area, which made our stay even more pleasant. The accommodation itself is beautiful – stylishly furnished, sparkling clean and equipped with every comfort. Everything we needed was present, and it immediately felt like a comfortable home away from home. Whenever we had any questions, Alexis and Nina were always there for us with quick and friendly help. Thanks to their recommendation we rented a car and enjoyed two great days in which we could explore the area at our own pace. Their local knowledge and commitment really enriched our trip. In short: a lovely place with great hosts, we look back on this experience with great pleasure

We stayed as a family of six, four adults and two children (8 and 5). The set up was really comfortable and worked perfectly for us. The outdoor pool area is great and our two kids loved it - especially as there were lots of inflatables left to play with. We arrived at 3am. Xristos offered to meet us, but when we suggested with young children we'd prefer just to get in and get to bed, then meet up after it was no problem at all. We had instructions to call when we arrived, and the gate was opened for us. We were blown away by how well supplied the house was. Xristos was in touch in the week before to check if we needed anything in particular and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure we had everything we needed to start our holiday. Then we had a delivery of local fruit and wild artichokes as they were in season. Amazing. There was a dust storm before we arrived. Xristos promptly sorted this too. A great and relaxed place to stay, with an unbelievably good host. Thanks!

The place was spotless, clean, and tidy. Pamela welcomed us for our short stay in Heraklion. We were well settled there, about fifteen minutes by car from the city center and 10 minutes from the airport, which made it easier to organize the end of our stay.

An outstanding location in a beautiful development. A beach with crystal clear waters, and a beautiful pool. This is a perfect home for either two small families, or a larger family with "in-law" space. The balcony views are spectacular.

Mark and Maria were great hosts, very welcoming and accommodating. Papadakis villa is an excellent place to stay, plenty to see within walking distance, a nice bar/pool area and a lovely room!

Smaller than the space appears to be in the photos but clean and well appointed. Danielle, our host, was helpful, a great communicator, and accessible. Great to be able to communicate easily when out of country. The pool is small, good for refreshing only. Be prepared for 3 flights of steep stairs to gain entry.

This was the second year running that we stayed at this apartment(4 weeks this time), and it was just as good as last year. We booked 10 months in advance and was in contact with Michalis 3 or 4 times during the year. Just before we arrived we requested that some provisions were available as we had a very late flight and Michalis provided water, milk, fruit and even some raki with honey! (nice welcome). As usual the apartment was well stocked with kitchen utensils, bed linen and towels; plus a new digital washing machine (quick wash 15 mins! ) The pool is a big bonus if you don't fancy the 20-25 min walk down to Hersonissos. Lots of bars and restaurants in the nearby villages of Piskopiano and Koutoufoulari. Car hire is also available. Already thinking of returning next year.

Ioanna was a fantastic host. She was very welcoming and helpful at any time. Our little stone house had a perfect view over Heraklion and the valley. We enjoyed the silence of the whole place and the privacy of the small house with some space to the other houses. Everything was clean and tidy. We were lucky to have the pool area almost by ourselves to cool down on the hot days. We definitely recommend to stay there, if you are searching for a spot to relax and come down. Irene has a nice, small appartment building. The pool is great, and the terrace and balcony were both nice. You can hear the planes, but you can't want to be 10 min from the airport and NOT hear them! It really didn't bother us at all, inside. Otherwise, quiet surroundings, easy drive to the city, close to the aquarium, which was lovely. I only wish there had been some soap and shampoo in the bathroom. We enjoyed our 3 night stay before flying out. The groundskeeper is smiley and helpful, also.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is well equipped, walkable from old town and beach. Totally recommend!

Great family-run place in Crete. The food at the taverna is AMAZING, and there’s always a daily special which was the highlight of the menu. Huge apartment, ocean views, easy access to drive to several beaches in the area.

We had a lovely 2 week stay at the villa. The view and facilities were outstanding. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful. I would recommend the villa to all families and groups. We were supplied with everything we needed including cots and child safety gates. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing and checking whether we needed anything.

A stunning location, you could never get bored of the view it’s intoxicating! The house is spacious and clean with everything you need inside as well as being in walking distance to some lovely little restaurants and wine tasting. Would highly recommend!!

We felt very comfortable in Manolis' apartment. :o) It is tastefully decorated and the kitchen is fully equipped. On foot you can reach the small town center, where there are many restaurants. Apart from that, Manolis also has nice tips in the area. We felt completely comfortable and can only recommend the beautiful accommodation. Thank you very much, dear Manolis.

Charming place! Aristeidis and his wife Marina are very polite, attentive and hospitality people! During all our rest they were ready to answer any our questions and give advice and help! The villa is very beautiful and comfortable! It is well equipped with different devices! From the second there is charming view all around! The private swimming pool was very clean and gave us possibility to enjoy private rest! The size of the pool is enough even for the big company! Sakalani is very cosy village with beautiful delicious taverns! There are many different olive and grape farms near the village! The villa is situated only 10 minutes from Heraclion! Definitely I and my family are very thankful to Aristeidis for our wonderful rest and time that we spent on his Vila! I strongly recommend this place for the vacations on Crete!

We had an amazing stay here, 6 adults and 2 babies. The villa is beautiful and we really appreciated the separate baby pool and children's toys, as well as being provided with a travel cot and high chairs for both babies. Eleni was a great host, she was very responsive and organised a cleaner to come half way through the stay which was great. The location is good as it isn't in the main town. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the restaurants and bars in Piskopiano and Koutouloufari, the first 5 minutes of the walk is uphill. We hope to return next year!
