We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse. It was bigger than we expected from the photos and very comfortable. Inside had everything we needed (and more!) including toys and games for the little ones and the gardens were just beautiful. We had lots of fun on the tennis courts! Lots in the area for young families. Hosts were very responsive whenever we had queries. Would recommend and would very happily stay again.

Sophie was an incredible host and met us on arrival to walk us through the property and explain everything in detail. We had to book at extremely short notice due to unforeseen circumstances with our original booking. Sophie managed to fit us in perfectly between existing bookings and we're so grateful for this! The property is absolutely stunning with a gorgeous private garden. The beds were super-comfy and the accommodation was spotless, I only wish we'd found this property first! Thank you so much for everything, Sophie, you really went above and beyond and helped us out of a horrible situation with our last booking xx

The house is wonderful for its age, character and history. We really appreciated the library and all the quirks and general history of the house itself. Some of us went on a quick trip to All Saints Church cemetery in Edmonton to see Charles and Mary Lamb's graves ... because the house provoked an interest to see and know more. It has many quirks - but these are so well explained by the hosts - so you know about them before you come. The character and joy of the house totally made up for the quirks. Size was great - for our family group of 7 it was ideal - plenty of space to eat and hang out and individual nooks and crannies where people could do their own thing.

Lovely house and grounds! The outside seating area is so cosy :) All very clean and nicely decorated.

Our short stay here was absolutely perfect. Everything was clean and tidy. Slightly smaller than what the pictures show but ain't to bad for a small family or couple. The area was nice and quite. Bed was really comfortable. We do like a TV in our room but didn't mind it so much. Will defo being staying here again and will defo mention this place to others.

We had the most fantastic stay at this beautiful home! The house was absolutely spotless and felt so welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was warm and cozy, the water was hot, and everything truly was perfect. The house is centrally located in the town and steps away from lovely pubs, just a short walk to Tesco, great restaurants, and right across from a charming café that serves excellent cappuccinos and delicious food. The nearby train station made getting around incredibly easy. We stayed for nine nights and didn’t want to leave. The beds were incredibly comfortable — with plush pillows and cozy comforters, everything was just perfect. We really couldn’t ask for more. We’ll definitely be coming back regularly.

We had a wonderful stay at Kitchen Hall cottages - the swimming pool made it very special for our 4 year old!! Wendy and Max were very responsive and we appreciated their recommendation to visit The Rainbow and Dove - the food was delicious! We visited Hatfield Forest National Trust for a big walk too - it was lovely and would recommend this.

We were pleased to find accommodation available where we could all stay and have a bed, have our second Christmas Day and generally be together with lots of space. Having the pool to enjoy was a particular bonus as most of us enjoy the water.

I booked this stay for my husband's 70th birthday with our family. There was 10 in total. The greeting was lovely and David explained everything about his property with passion and warmth. Im not surprised the place has the 'wow' factor for myself and family. The converted narn had beautiful features very pretty but David has introduced some great electric blinds, lighting, modern kitchen but fits with the period property. Fab tennis court, David provided balls and bats for guests to to use. David then took us to the pool area and extra bedroom and we were blown away. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Lovely towels at pool and bedrooms. Plenty of hot water. Pool warm, jacuzzi great. We absolutely loved our time at Davids property. Would defo recommend. Top class.

We had 2 nights at Kristians house Was perfect location for us as we were spending our time in London Close to train station Plenty of places to eat Lovely quiet location, the house was beautiful with so much space Would highly recommend and book myself again

A Perfect Bank Holiday Escape – Tranquil, Welcoming, and Memorable We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend at Victoria and Daniel’s beautiful wooden cabin. From the start, the hosts were incredibly thoughtful - offering help with our bags, providing pool floats for our baby, and being on hand for anything we needed. The cabin itself was clean, cosy, and full of character, set in a peaceful area surrounded by nature. We loved the nearby canal walks and having a few great pubs just a short walk away. The garden was especially lovely, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the quiet surroundings. There were a couple of very minor things that could use a little touch-up, but nothing that took away from our experience. Overall, a truly enjoyable and relaxing stay – we’d happily return!

We had a great stay at this apartment; the accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and it felt very private and peaceful. The host was very welcome and very responsive to our questions. Overall a great place to stay.

A wonderfully charming and peaceful venue for my wife and our dog to enjoy and relax. Walks from the front door along a private path leading to several local footpaths and lovely views were ideal for us and the dog. The accommodation was really well furnished, inside and out, with some nice little touches to make it feel really homely. Short driving distance (or 30-40 min walk) from lots of lovely country pubs.

Just what I needed! I had work in London and this beautiful airbnb was a perfect solution. Photos do not do it justice, so cute and homely and includes everything you might need during your stay. Brilliant host and super responsive.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for my stay at The Byre. This is a stunning property and every small detail has been thought of. Vanessa is very responsive and friendly. Please stay here and you can thank me later.

Nikki has been an absolutely amazing host. Excellent communication from the initial enquiry and provided a lovely gift for my Son & Wife who had just got married. They loved the cottage and pubs in Old Welwyn. Nikki also kindly let us know something had been left and arranged for us to collect. Totally recommend this beautiful cottage and wonderful host.

We had a great stay at Lychgate House, it felt like a real home from home. Everything was good and as described and shown in the photos. On top of that the bed was very comfy and it was so quiet at night. Lovely to hear the church bells in the daytime. Marie was a great host, very friendly and helpful.

Patrick is a great host and has been easy to communicate with. The property has been great for our employees working in the local area, very clean and well looked after.

This barn conversion is in a very beautiful setting it's peaceful and you are fully surrounded by greenery whilst being close to city links It's spotlessly clean and has everything you need from soft clean towels, luxurious bedding plus every kitchen appliance and utensil needed to be fully self catering. It's lovely to know you only have to bring your luggage and everything is ready for you m. Its tastefully decorated and lots of care has gone into the furnishings it feels 5 star and I can't recommend it enough We will be returning here again and again

I’ve never been so sad to leave an Air BnB! Peaceful, quiet, heaven! Lovely enclosed garden/decking with patches of grass for the dogs, plenty of choice of outdoor furniture! Decking is a little worn and rotted in certain parts but otherwise it was a perfect little spot, we had perfect weather and spent most our time out there. 3 beautiful horses to watch graze from the garden with a cuppa, and a very cute donkey and Shetland behind the house to say hello to! It was honestly amazing - the perfect quiet retreat, the house is on the owners’ land but we were never disturbed but hosts were extremely responsive if we needed anything. Beautiful flowers and lovely fresh sourdough, chocolate and wine left for us which was such a lovely touch! Hosts were so welcoming and friendly, helped us with our bags which was very kind. Rooms were amazing with TVs, great wardrobe space, full working kitchen, stunning bathroom. We literally had everything we could possibly need, I would live there forever!
