We absolutely loved our stay here - wonderful (and well-equipped) house, with great hosts, and views to die for. And the whales and dolphins put on an amazing show for us from dawn to dusk!

Hlatini is honestly magic! We were there a few months ago and justhad to come back! The beach is literally on your doorstep, the garden is huge and full of birds, it's just heaven.

We had an amazing stay at Jackie's place, and spotted dolphins every day from the stoep. This is one of the best holiday places I've been, and my family (and our dogs) loved it.

Wow! What a wonderful, relaxing home to holiday in! The photos don’t do it justice, it is even more stunning in person. We loved every moment of our stay, especially the direct access to the beach. Lindiwe was so helpful too. Thank you Debbie, we can’t wait to book our next trip!

An amazing place was beautiful and clean, had a super amazing host who was considerate and accommodating we will definitely be back it was just as described in the pictures. We really fell in love what a gem!! We really felt at home. The house has everything you could need on your vacation to make life so much easier.

Nothing really beats hearing the ocean waves seconds before you fall asleep - peaceful bliss. We really enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful, Jolandi’s house is beautiful - the locals are very friendly. Our furbaby definitely loved the yard space and had so much fun running up and down.

I would give Justins place 10 stars if I could...it was absolutely amazing especially with the breathtaking seaview. The house is very spacious and the pool is just a bonus. our kids really enjoyed the getaway and didnt want to leave. Justin was absolutely awesome, he is a very good host and what was great about him is he replies really quick. And Yvette was absolutely amazing, she was there if ever we needed to find out anything, she is very kind and caring even towards kids. My kids adored her. This home is value for money. We will definitely go back when we get a chance. i would highly recommend.

What a great experience. If you're an early riser who enjoys a good sunrise, set your alarm clock and make your way out of bed to the balcony. I promise it's worth it. Among the best sunrises I've watched and filmed! AND, an absolute bonus on our final early morning on the balcony... Dolphins surfing in the waves, whales coming up for air, and even potential shark breaches in the background! Plus I must mention the wealth of nature sounds and bird life in view. Between Jared and Erika, they did a great job hosting us. Definitely visiting again in the near future.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was amazing. The unit is so modern and so stocked up that I didn’t even need to pack my own dishwasher tablets or washing machine pods. Celeste had it all sorted. The view was beautiful and I loved the patio area - so peaceful to read a book. Celeste was so responsive. The beach was only a short walk out the bottom gate. Celeste was right to rather go to the beach first thing in the morning before 12pm otherwise it gets very busy and packed. Our kids loved the tidal pool! But unfortunately, the area is not a very clean area especially the beach. A lot of rubbish being dumped on the grass, shore and streets, unfortunately. The only thing I would suggest for the unit is to put in an air con because wow, it was SO hot and humid and the fans blew warm air. Thank you so much for making your beautiful unit so comfortable and stress-free to stay at.

Stunning apartment right on the shoreline. The apartment was modern, spacious and very well maintained. The large balcony was perfect for evening braais and we spent many happy hours up there watching dolphins and whales playing in the ocean. A two min walk to margate beach and an easy drive to all local amenities. Can’t say enough about the place, we loved it!

There is not enough words to say how much we loved this home. We have never before changed our tradition as a family and this was our first time, but we found our new holiday tradition when we found this home. The view and the balcony took our breaths away, never felt more relaxed and at home..Margate itself was a bit of a let down, so would recommend beaches around like uvongo or shelley beach.. this is our new home for holidays

We had an incredible stay. Lee-Roy was very good with communication from the day I made the booking, until the day we left. The place is immaculate, with a beautiful clean beach basically in your back yard. The yard is fenced in and safe for pets. Veronica, the housekeeper was great, so kind and helpful and always on time. The house is spacious and I love they they even prepared little beds for my doggies, the attention to detail is so appreciated. We had an incredible stay and it was definitely value for money. A very kind welcome gift also waited for us which was so kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend this place.

What a fantastic find! We had a wonderful holiday at Basil's super comfy & perfectly situated unit. Fabulous views in a secure, well-equipped complex just a few 100m from shops, restaurants & the awesome Blue Flag beach. Rooms were spacious & comfortable with ceiling fans to keep us cool. Watch the sun rise from the patio or complex bench overlooking the ocean then stroll onto the pristine beach to make happy memories that will last a lifetime. It was just what we wanted a little bit of peace with the ocean at our door step. The house could do with a few upgrades but thats life living at the sea and the salt sea air, it won't however stop us from staying there again! It was safe and had everything we needed for our stay! Thomas the caretaker was there for anything we needed, he was also not intrusive and left us to do our thing! We didnt want to leave and again would definitely book another stay there!

A little piece of heaven. Right on the beach - it’s surreal. Lots of space to grab a quiet moment or converge together over a meal with the sea as a backdrop. The house has everything you need and more. Thomas is quietly unobtrusive and very efficient at looking after the house and comfort of the guests. Highly recommended.

A lovely property in a great location close to the beach. Plenty of space for families with nice outside area for alfresco dining and entertaining. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely stay again.

What a wonderful stay we had over a long weekend. The house feels like a home, is big enough to accommodate numerous families, but feels really premium. You feel away from the buzz of the north coast, meandering down to the beach, ocean views from the bedrooms, firepit evenings with the ocean's roar only dwarfed by the magnificent night sky. A holiday to remember!

Our stay at Whale's Tail was simply glorious! The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. The views over the ocean are stunning and we saw whales and dolphins every day. Sitting on the veranda and watching the sunrise made our stay unforgettable. The swimming spot is a short walk along the beach and the rockpools are right in front of the cottage. I would highly recommend a stay at here and would love to come back one day.
