This is a renovated Kyomachi house near Gojo-zaka. A 100-year-old Kyomachi house has been transformed into a guest house where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the good old days. It is a luxurious natural material renovation that uses diatomaceous earth with deodorizing and humidity regulating effects, and unpolluted materials such as hinoki cypress and cedar, with attention to detail in the finish. The bathtub is made of Shigaraki-yaki, produced in a kiln in Shiga Prefecture. The far infrared effect warms the body to the core and makes it difficult for the bath to cool down. Why not relax from the daily grind while enjoying a drink and taking in the beautiful Japanese garden? The Japanese-style room on the second floor features a shoji screen with a Mondrian-style design. The bedroom headboard is designed to resemble the Tateyama mountain range.
