Very pretty, quiet and comfy place to stay in. The hosts are extremely friendly and responsive. There's also washing machine which is a plus point for our stay. We would definitely come back here again if we were to travel to kyoto!

The house is nice and clean with all the amenities mentioned. Walkable distance from the nearest station. The host provided us with all the convenience stores nearby. Also a very generous gesture of allowing us to checkin way earlier than our checkin time, Kudos. Overall a very good stay.

Stayed here with our family of 5. Lots of sleeping options. Two great showers. Laundry. Cute shops, craft bars, restaurants, and beautifully built shrines. Lots of outdoor beauty too.

The bed is very comfortable to sleep on😊 like a bed in a small room in your own home.The surrounding environment is also very quiet, the privacy is very good, the room is fully equipped, I will come to Kyoto again next time I will book again, thank the host for the detailed introduction and friendly welcome😊

Amazing find! Perfect location close to many sites whether by walking or train. Neighborhood was quiet and house felt like we were at home would stay here again!

My kids enjoyed the creative atmosphere of the house. We appreciated how clean and spacious it was. The host is very helpful and response. Perfect place close to a train with easy access to all of Kyoto. Worked perfectly for our trip to multiple shrines, temples, Nintendo Museum, and you can even see the Nintendo Headquarters from the train station!

The place was clean, easy to find, and very comfortable. Our host was kind, responsive, and thorough in their responses. We especially enjoyed the foot massage machine and the many games provided in the home.

We were 3 families traveling together, lots of kids, big room, all kids can stay in one room.The first floor common area is also big and clean overall.

This was great for our family of 4 trip (with two kids ages 8 and 11). The location can’t be beat, the Yasaka shrine is right around the corner and tons of amazing restaurants in walking distance. There is a grocery store just a couple of blocks away, so we got some breakfast food, snacks and drinks there. The rooms are very quiet and beds are very comfortable (heated floors were an extra bonus). The bathrooms are very nice as well. This was a very zen place with a traditional feel and modern amenities. Great find!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 3-story Japanese-style house. It’s incredibly clean, well-maintained, and full of Kyoto charm. The layout is spacious yet cozy—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is excellent: just a 5-minute walk to Gojo Station on the Keihan Line, and there’s a 7-Eleven right outside the door, which made everything super convenient—from grabbing a quick snack to withdrawing cash. Shan is a superhost in every sense. She gave us a warm welcome with plenty of water, drinks, snacks, and even instant noodles! Her responses were always quick and helpful—we felt really well cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto. Great home, great location, and a truly wonderful host. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Zhang was super friendly and helpful. The house is at the beautiful and quiet place, which helped us experience local lifestyle.

Great place to stay. Very clean and spacious. Great walkable location for us. Would 100% recommend. The host gave us lots of local recommendations and we even managed to catch a local festival because of it.

The place is as described in a quiet neighborhood, good for walking around to appreciate the beautiful flowers in front of some houses. There are grocery stores within ~20 mins walk downhill to a main street of the area. It was very helpful to have a pick up and drop off to the subway station services by the owner.

The location of the B&B is very striking. There are convenience stores and fresh supermarkets around. Very convenient location in the Arashiyama neighborhood. Only a 6 minute walk to shops, the bamboo forest, or the larger neighborhood train station. There is a smaller train track right behind the house, and we were worried about noise, but it turns out those trains don't run at night. Very responsive owners/ management- it was a great stay.
