Beachfront holiday rental in Higgins Beach, Scarborough

Incredible experience! We traveled from SC for our youngest son’s wedding. From the time we walked into this place when we found a box of doughnuts & a personalized message about the wedding until we checked out late because we needed some extra time . . . and on top of all this Krystal shared her number & we communicated with her & she was always responsive. Again, I say, Incredible experience! You should definitely consider a stay at this place while in Old Orchard Beach. Thank you, Krystal!

Great apartment within walking distance to Old Port and many great restaurants. It was especially nice that we were able to bring our senior dog. There's a croissanterie around the corner called Belleville and it's open Fri/Sat/Sun. Yum! It was lovely to have a deck and to be able to sit outside. A+

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Julie's lakeside home for Father’s Day weekend. The setting was serene, with beautiful views of the water, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy quality time together. The home was well-equipped and comfortable, offering everything we needed for a memorable stay. Julie was a fantastic host, ensuring that our experience was seamless and enjoyable. Just as described and just as charming and comfortable. Very welcoming to our dog with treats, towels, bowls…. And humans were very well taken care of too! We will go back and highly recommend you stop there too.

Tammy describes her sweet cottage perfectly. Water views are spectacular with options to fish off the dock, sit in the backyard to warm up or sit on the bluff to cool off. It was perfect for this girl and her dog to re-set in solitude. Most places on the water have sensitive septic as described so you want to consider that if there are more than two guests. I enjoyed my endless walks on Popham beach (no dogs 4/1-10/1)) and was thrilled to be there in the off season. I barely saw anyone! Reid State Park was also spectacular and more opportunity to walk my dog on the trails. Tick season is a bit of an adjustment every year but not a problem if you prepare yourself and your furry friends. A perfect place for a great book, wandering around historic Bath, and easy meal prep. I stayed 2 weeks and appreciated all the thought Tammy put into anticipating what a traveler might need.

We really enjoyed Elizabeth's house. It was beautiful and peaceful. The dock and beach were great. Communication was awesome! would loved to stay stay again.

Great place to stay for anyone with several guests looking to stay anywhere near the Biddeford area. Plenty of room inside and outside of the house. Host was very responsive and the place was nice and clean when we arrived. 5 star experience.

Kristin's cottage is a light filled cottage that is updated, clean and super comfy. I loved the location and how quiet it was as well. The addition of a pool was also such a nice to have. I will definitely be booking again soon. Can't wait to make this my every summer vacation spot!

Our stay at the beach house was great! You couldn't be closer to the water! So much fun kayaking, floating and swimming in the lake! House is much better than the pictures do it justice. For a 2 bedroom house its very big and spacious, beds were extremely comfortable. The no wifi was a little bit of a downer but there were plenty of board games to play. There is some street noise but not bad at all. Would most definitely recommend if you are looking for waterfront property. The access to the resort pool was a plus too for the kiddos!

A great spot tucked away!! House was cute and as shown in the pictures, is right on the water and has some great views! It rained the majority of the time we were there so didn’t get to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities, but would have if better weather! Host was very friendly, communicative and responsive!

We had a wonderful time! Going during off season was very peaceful and quiet will definitely book again in the future!

We really enjoyed our stay at Tara's place. It was clean and nice location to the beach. She was also very accommodating with an early check in time in order for us to get ready for a wedding.

Stefano's home was absolutely fantastic. Perfect location for three couples. Close to everything and completely private and peaceful. It was lovely waking up to the sounds of the ocean each morning. Perfectly clean and tidy and had everything we could have needed. We can't wait to book again!

Julie’s place was very nice and very clean. The location was great, right across the street from the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a small basket of treats. Julie responded very quickly to any messages we sent. We would highly recommend this place.

This 1 BR stay was perfect from start to finish! Once we realized that we had to pick up keys and parking pass just up the street (no real biggie and quite close), we had a wonderful stay. The apartment was clean, inviting, well decorated, and had everything we needed. The bed was quite comfortable as well. We felt right at home in the apartment, and a walk to town took only a few minutes. I highly recommend not having a vehicle in Ogunquit for downtown dining and entertainment, as there really is no parking, so with this rental’s proximity to everything, you just can’t pass it up! Walk to beach too. When we next visit Ogunquit, we will definitely look to stay again!

Amy was very helpful and communicative and generous with an end of season late checkout. We were in town to celebrate my Dad’s 85th and she even offered to help with balloons! The place was perfect for us with my young nephews. The unit was well stocked with plenty of kitchen tools and cookware and dishes. There were plenty of linens and towels available to us. Very convenient to pine point beach. We would love to visit here again if it worked with our schedule.

Deborah was very helpful and quick to respond. She had great suggestions on where and what to visit. The travel magazines she had on her TV stand were extremely helpful. The bed was very soft, which I love, so I slept really well. We loved the touch of having beach chairs available. The only downsides I can think of, are that the shower is very small, and it’s hard to back out of the parking space.

Elizabeth’s cabin was perfect for our quick trip to Maine. The location was beautiful and offered a quick drive to Portland. Old Orchard Beach and several lighthouses are also nearby. 5 stars all around!

Had a wonderful getaway! Cozy cottage close to the beach was perfect!

I went with a couple of friends for a relaxing weekend in the fall. It was lovely to have the beach so close by! We took a short day trip to Ogunquit where there was quite a bit of activity; lots of shops and restaurants to check out. Coming back to Melissa's place was cozy and relaxing. Since this was off-season, it is pretty quiet in the area. I felt more comfortable taking a stroll to the beach in the evening with a friend but would be hesitant to go alone. Despite that, we got the weekend we wanted: peace, relaxation, the ocean, things to do nearby, and a place to stay that was quiet, cozy, and clean. Thank you Melissa!

Adam’s place was a wonderful find! The home was cozy, spotless, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a beach getaway. From beach chairs to towels and even toys, it made our stay super easy and fun. The location is just steps from a gorgeous beach, perfect for morning walks or sunset lounging. Adam was a great host—responsive and welcoming. We’d definitely love to stay here again!

Cynthia’s place is a quaint, private, beachside retreat that’s perfect to enjoy all that Portland has to offer. With a small beach just steps away, and Portland only a 10 min drive, this place is perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing Maine adventure. The bed was super comfy and the water pressure was awesome!

This was a great place to stay. Super cute little place loved the boho decor. It’s minutes from the beach and stores. The only part we didn’t love was the train but all things considered we adored the place and would definitely stay again.
