Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in High Peak District

A beautifully designed house! Even better than the pictures and perfectly located. Tasteful decor and well equipped home meant this was a perfect stay for our birthday weekend away! We’d happily come and stay again!

Callow Barn. What a beautiful place in beautiful surrounding. Loads to see and do. Great walks. Great pubs. And a fantastic lido, but advisable to book a couple of days before you go to avoid disappointment

The Annex is a great place to stay. It’s very comfortable, local to the village pub and shop. Two minutes walk. And also to great walks. My furthest drive was 20 minutes to park and walk. Alison and Neil are extremely knowledgeable about the walks and willing to talk about them if you ask. Also very dog friendly. Totally recommend the Annex as a good base.

Had a lovely family holiday at this lovely house, had everything we needed and more, the surroundings are beautiful, perfect for our dog and is a great central location for the rest of the peak district.

We had an amazing stay at Vicky & Alex’s cottage. The house was fantastically equipped and beautifully decorated. Very comfy beds with high quality linens. Perfect for a girly hiking weekend away! Thank you so much - we will be back!

Great cottage in a wonderful location, handy for Chatsworth, Bakewell etc Clear instructions and good communications. The main bedroom was lovely, it is very large and has a wardrobe and drawers. Everything was perfect for us.

I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. Perfect for find a little respite, peace and quiet. They were delighted with how much was provided at the accommodation, Sarah had thought of everything. They felt incredibly welcome and throughly enjoyed their stay, they’d definitely return! Thank you Sarah for providing such a lovely home for their stay!

Excellent property, fantastic location, great local pub, lovely walks! Jo was an excellent host. The one hiccup was checking in, we didn't have access to the code for the key lock on arrival. The app said contact the 'host', so we did. The problem was, 'Jo' was on her hols too, so not immediately responsive. Jo said this was an issue she had not experienced before, but was able to sort the problem immediately. We couldn't have asked for more than that. Thank you for letting us stay at your home Jo.

It’s like visiting your Aunt & Uncle. On arrival we were made a brew whilst we unpacked. John had a wealth of knowledge about the area for us to bike/walk in addition to our plans. There was a slow cooker which was brilliant as meant like at home we could put tea on before mountain biking for the day. There was everything you could possibly need including a spare towel for my hair which no other Airbnb has had. We will be looking for other things to do in the area so we can stay again.

I had a fabulous short stay in Todmorden. The host, Nick, was super-responsive before and during my stay, meeting me off the train and walking me over to the flat that was just across the street. The flat itself was very welcoming, with a comfy bed, excellent shower and a fabulous view from the balcony. If you like being outdoors but aren’t up to doing hikes, the walk along the canal path towards Hebden Bridge is a great option, and the scenery along the route is absolutely stunning.

Lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts, Suzanne and Ian who were there to meet me and explained how everything worked. Welcome pack a nice bonus and very much appreciated after a long drive. Flat was beautiful, light and airy but at the same time, homely and welcoming. Very peaceful location and felt very safe there, something very important to me as a female guest staying on my own. Great communication and the few queries I had during my stay were answered very quickly. Local shop within walking distance for anything you might need and a coffee shop which looked very inviting and a must try venue for next time. All-in-all, a wonderfully relaxing stay.

We loved staying at Emma’s in Holmfirth! Location was a ten min walk away from bars restaurants/ pubs / general high street. There were plenty of walks to do which were a 5-10 drive away. The flag was really well equipped with all essentials you’d need. & as a bonus we met the dogs who lived in the house opposite who were very friendly and cute. Would definitely return! Rosie’s place was **absolutely perfect** in every way! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The space was **spotlessly clean**, beautifully decorated, and had everything we could possibly need – from fresh linens and towels to a fully equipped kitchen and super comfy beds. Rosie herself was an **exceptional host**: friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She gave us great local tips (like her favorite coffee shop downtown!), and was always quick to answer questions. The little touches – like coffee, snacks, and a handwritten welcome note – truly made us smile. The location was **ideal*– quiet, safe, and just a short drive to Peak District . We loved coming back to such a peaceful space after exploring Peak District. **Everything was exactly as described** (or better!) in the listing, and check-in/checkout was seamless. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing time at Holmdene in the Peak District. was perfectly located for all the walking and trips/tours we wanted to do in Castleton. Charlotte & Stuart were wonderful hosts who greeted us warmly on arrival and Charlotte gave us a detailed chat on all the walks we could do tho we didn't get to experience all of them in our short stay due to weather. We had a lovely evening in the pod with friends and we felt very at home in the apartment which was spotless and well equipped for all our needs and we would highly recommend Holmdene to anyone looking to stay in Castleton. we will definitely be back for more visits. We had a great stay at Ladybird apartment which suited us perfectly for going to a wedding nearby. The outside space looked great but we didn’t use it due to being out most of the time, and the apartment had everything we needed. Thank you Richard, good to meet you.

Very comfortable and cosy flat. Kitchen was well equipped and lovely to get tea, coffee, milk and biscuits there on arrival. The location was very convenient for town centre and handy for visiting local area. Sarah communicated well and responded immediately to our two queries. Her answers were very helpful. A most enjoyable stay.

my stay was everything I needed, I stayed there 2 years ago and knew what to expect. Surroundings are so peaceful, loft has everything you need, walking distance to horse and jockey. Amanda always responds quickly if there are any issues.

Lovely accommodation! Ideally situated for walking into the centre of Hebden Bridge and for travelling into the many places of interest in the surrounding area. We would certainly rebook when we visit the area again.

whoaw. What an incredible place to stay. Stunning cottage in an absolutely gorgeous setting with easy acces to many walks and places to visit. Spotlessly clean and a fully equipped kitchen with top-notch equipment with extra bonus of fridge and freezer. Jasper our dog was very well looked after and even Paula looked after him whilst we visited Chatsworth house. I loved the alpacas and their cute little voices. This little gem is a must if you vist the Peak District. one of the best if not the best Air B and B. we stayed in and we have been to many. Thanks Paula and Rob for looking after us. We didn't want to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Angus is a fabulous host, warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. His home is absolutely stunning, with decor that’s truly to die for. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making us feel instantly at home. Wirksworth is a charming village, full of independent shops and cosy cafés. As first time visitors to the Derbyshire Dales, this was the perfect introduction, and we’re already looking forward to returning soon.
