Beautiful location with easy access to the local springs and University of Florida

We stayed here for a graduation ceremony . The place is centrally located , easy to find , tons of parking spots . Nice private backyard . We had some trouble trying to unlock the door but the host was quick to respond and assist . Would surely recommend this place to friends

This was a fantastic place to stay and relax while at a conference in Gainesville. The apartment was spotless when I arrived and had everything you needed. Hosts were very friendly. It is tucked away in the trees, very peaceful. Everything was great.

This place worked really well for us. It was very quiet and the location is a short distance from both the bike trail and the UF campus. But it was far enough away to not feel crowded. This is a great place to use as a base camp for exploring Gainesville.

We came to High Springs to enjoy the springs. We went to Ruth Gilchrist springs on Thursday. It is a small spring with kayak rentals. We then went to Willie's place. It is a nice house just down the street from a lovely park. The kids enjoyed swinging on the swings after dinner. The house is exactly as the pictures show. Very clean and comfortable. On Friday we enjoyed coffee and relaxing before we headed to Ginnie springs, just past Gilchrist springs. It is expensive, but so worth the price. So many amenities, tube rental, kayak and long board rentals, several springs on the property. A delightful day. We only came for the two days and one night, but I wish we had stayed two nights. I would definitely recommend this adventure and Willie's home. We will be back. Teresa

This property was beautiful, peaceful and quiet and instantly made us feel at home. The house is cozy and comfortable and perfectly compliments the especially inviting porch and backyard space. Small, thoughtful details in the kitchen and bathroom were appreciated and the house was stocked with whatever you might need for your stay. It provided the perfect mixture of remote tranquility and nearby accessibility to restaurants, groceries and things to do. I would highly recommend for anyone needing a no-frills escape from the city while still keeping some creature comforts within arms reach.

Suwannee River Retreat was one of the best family vacations we have had! The home + dock + amenities are unmatched and it was the perfect getaway in nature for our family. The home's surroundings were beautiful- peaceful Suwannee River and nicely shaded yard. The dock was shaded most of the day, and was where we spent a good amount of time with some fishing and others kayaking. Our Easter 2025 weekend was so enjoyable and we're grateful for the memories made here. We will cherish this experience. Thank you Cheryl for sharing your lovely retreat with us <3 A few notes for future travelers- kitchen has all you need. We brought things in case and didn't end up needing them. We were even able to have a nice holiday meal with all the serving dishes. We enjoyed Fanning Springs State Park, Hart Springs county park, Nature Coast Trail - Suwannee River Bridge.

We are a family of 6 with a toddler. We split our vacation in half, a condo by the beach and house close to the springs. Everyone was in agreement that this house was definitely the highlight of the trip. Way better than expected, pristine and luxe. We all appreciated that everything we needed and wanted was provided, but not only that, but the best of it and in bulk. Sensitive skins over here, so sensitive products were a great touch. Appliances, pots and pans -- everything was quality. The primary bed -- Oh so comfy!! Could go on and on. If we get the opportunity, which we might because so many springs are close to here, would definitely come back.

Our family of four enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. A modest country home nestled in the woods. Seeing all the deer coming & going, listening to the birds. Roads are beautiful with soft white sand and canopy trees make for the most enjoyable, relaxing walks, especially down to the Ichetucknee for a float. Private access was a privilege we loved, never dealing with any crowds. Fell in love with the area. Kayaked down the Santa Fe. Abundance of wildlife, and the perfect slower pace we love. Would come again. Host was responsive, nothing was ever needed as everything was well thought out. Home was clean & kept well ordered and prepared.

Our time at this home was not long enough! We enjoyed numerous of springs nearby during the day and looked forward to coming back to the coziest home on the river. We really appreciated the rafts that were available to use! My favorite place was the screened in patio on the upper deck. My son (2) & I started our days and ended our days out there. A wonderful home with much to offer. We can’t wait to come back <3

Great getaway to the springs! Katie gave very clear instructions and went above and beyond on the details for local restaurants, springs, ect.. the house was very clean and spacious, everything worked and is kept well. We loved the outside patio and pool area. Very relaxing and gave the real Florida vibe! We will definitely stay again on our next visit to the springs!

Amy is a very responsive and accommodating host. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Amy kindly welcomes guests with set of coded, water and bath supplies. The location is near to the stores and is very quiet. Amy is sternly accommodating, and it was a great pleasure to communicate.

We loved this place! It was very loud at night (all night), but that might just be a Gainesville thing. Overall, the place is clean and beautiful. the bed is also bery comfortable. Came to see our daughter and will for sure stay there again.

What a beautiful Airbnb experience! The host was extremely accommodating and gracious – especially considering my last-minute booking. The condo’s décor is modern, fresh and open with very comfortable beds. There are tv's in the living room and both bedrooms! The kitchen appliances, the washer and the dryer, are all new. Sitting on the balcony, I am in the treetops overlooking the 3-mile walking trail which lines the perimeter of the Haile golf course which even has a turtle pond and a butterfly garden. Turning my gaze in the other direction, I glimpse the Haile Village shops and a varied assortment of high-quality restaurants. All of this is within one block's walking distance. I wish my booking could have included a Saturday morning, when I understand that the village street is lined with bakers, vendors and crafters who participate in the weekly Saturday Haile Farmer’s Market. I will be back to this Airbnb – it is a treasure.

Had an amazing stay at Steven's Airbnb. The place was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. Fantastic host, responsive, friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend if you need something very close to campus!

This was a nice little spot! The laminate wood flooring throughout gave the unit a really nice feel, and everything was spotlessly clean upon arrival. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of having easily accessible charging plugs right next to the bed – so convenient! The water pressure in the shower was also great. Beyond the practicalities, the inside was quite stylish. It offered a comfortable amount of space for one person or a couple. The location was great for my needs, offering easy access to Gainesville while being just on the outskirts of the University of Florida. I'd definitely recommend this Airbnb!

The place is nice, everything was clean and organized. We set the A/C to 72 before bed and it somehow got up to 81 by the time we got up at 7:00am, not ideal when you have a young child and it is so hot outside. Also was not great that the tenants upstairs were very active walking around and we could hear every step until well past midnight.

we very much enjoyed our stay at Brenda's. The area is very walkable, with several restaurants to choose from, and a great coffee place. I did notice several things for kids to do, very family friendly area. Publix is very close if you need anything. We will definitely look at staying again if it is available the next time we are coming to town. We felt right at home.
