was working away and Mike gave us a place well past the check in time. exactly what I expected and freindly hosts showing us there doggy. Jan made sure we had plenty to eat the corned beef was a great touch. for a nice little get away would recommend for sure.

Had a wonderful week at The Retreat. John’s directions and instructions were very clear. The accommodation was larger than expected and was well equipped. It was the perfect location for us to explore the surrounding area. The bottle of milk and wine in the fridge were much appreciated.

So peaceful and it was really private, just the place to relax and unwind. The shepherds hut had everything we needed and we really felt like we'd relaxed by the time we left. Loved watching the horses and meeting the dog.

Amazing cottage. Beautifully renovated coach house. Both inside and out. Lovely quiet area. Garden is well designed and looked after. The cottage is quaint with all mod cons. Definitely will return.
