Luxury in Wiltshire 1hr from the city & the coast

SaffiaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wow! What an incredible home- everything was AMAZING. The place was newly made and everything was so tastefully & thoughtfully done. Very modern yet felt like it blended it right with the country side vibes. The location was awesome, short drive from the town centre and lots of hikes etc. nearby! Would 11/10 recommend and will definitely be back soon! The views are also lovely!

Old Dairy Cottage

JonathanRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A beautiful well presented cottage in the Wiltshire country side, located on a working farm (lots of horses), with great access to local walks and the Barge Inn pub. The canal is a few minutes walk from the cottage and there is an abundance of wildlife. The Westbury white horse can also be viewed from only a short walk away, which adds to this already lovely location.

Entire guest house, in Pewsey Vale, Wiltshire

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Furze on a visit to the area to attend a wedding at local venue, Chalk. The accommodation was substantial, well appointed, clean and we had all we needed. Great communication from our host ahead of and during our visit. Really nice touch to provide breakfast basics as a welcome too!

Secluded cottage with garden, 15 min walk to pub

We loved our stay in this heavenly bower. A wonderful haven to rest in and to practise shinrin yoku (Japanese forest bathing/nature immersion to improve wellbeing) in. Download the 'Merlin Bird ID by Cornell Lab' app and have fun identifying the birdsong! The North Wessex Downs are glorious. We visited Avebury, West Kennet Long Barrow and Savernake Forest when we were in the area last year and this time we enjoyed walks on Martinsell Hill and Knap Hill as well as in the small wood behind the cottage. Watching the sunlight in the trees from the garden was magical. Fenella is a friendly, generous host (thank you for the flowers, milk, wine, chocolate, tea, coffee, flapjack, toiletries and kitchen essentials) and the cottage was very comfortable and clean, with care given to everything guests might need. Unusual and pleasing to find the knives were sharp and the pans unscratched in the well-equipped kitchen. A joy to cook there and to eat in the garden. Thank you! We hope to return.

Stylish cottage in the Pewsey Vale

SarahRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a great stay, enjoyed the privacy of the self-contained space, and appreciated its lovely decor. Bed very soft and comfortable. Ceiling is low in some spots (especially bathroom) so bear that in mind if you’re tall and/or clumsy! It’s in a secluded spot that’s easily walkable along the canal to The Barge Inn, where there’s a fantastic view of the Pewsey White Horse. Doug and Clementine were both very welcoming and helpful, easy going and responsive. Dog and chickens also made us feel welcome.

Countryside Lodge close to Stonehenge & Salisbury

This has been one of my most favourite Airbnb's!! Chris & Lewis have been super friendly right from the beginning. Their recommendations came in very helpful and the airbnb was beautiful, extremely clean and very well looked after! Longacre was very well equipped and comfortable, the upstairs lounge area was lovely to sit in and chat as a group whilst listening to some music (also supplied via Google Chrome speakers, lovely little touch). The location was stunning too! With a pub a 5ish minute walk over the river Avon and heaps being recommended by Chris & Lewis, if we hadn't been attending a wedding we would have found plenty to do! We definitely recommend staying here, perfect for 2 couples or a family!
