Located just 2 hours from Houston, our little lake house retreat is the perfect getaway. Whether you enjoy sitting around the fire with family and friends, hitting the lake for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or just lounging on the large floating water mat, we have you covered. At the end of the day, fire up the Traeger grill or Traeger Flatrock griddle and enjoy dining out on the deck while taking in the amazing views of the lake as the sun goes down. Come on out and make some memories!

Lakefront Sam Rayburn modern home - amazing views!

Enjoy nature in this luxury lakefront modern guest house in the treetops with fantastic views of Lake Sam Rayburn and the Angelina National Forest. You will have the entire private living space, including your own living room, bedroom, kitchen, full bathroom and 4 decks. Be sure to take a swim in the lake from the sandy beach. Bring your boat: this property is 15 minutes from Umphrey Pavilion and only 1 mile from Sandy Creek Boat Ramp. You are welcome to fish anywhere on the property.

Angelina Riverside Cabin D

One of two cabins on the Angelina River downstream from Lake Sam Rayburn Dam. Cabin D sits on 3.5 acres of riverfront property with access to the Pavillion and deck overlooking the river with ample seating with tables, chairs and bar stools along with a propane grill and griddle to cook your meal. The cabin has 2 queen beds, parking for your boat with an outside receptacle to charge your batteries. Public boat ramp is across the river. (Cabin C has 1 king bed with all the same ammenities)

Naturalist Boudoir on Point is our newest cabin and ready for your staycation. Some say she is our BEST yet. High ceilings, huge windows, one of a kind rock tub with infinity edge in center of cabin. Outdoor hot tub and outdoor shower. Extremely private for the naturalist. Come relax, reconnect and recharge. The Apartment at Grateful Gulley

Quiet and restful, our hide-away apartment is the perfect getaway if you are looking for a place to relax, unwind, and recharge! Nestled into six acres of private forested land, this apartment has everything you need for the perfect stay, including a deck overlooking the forest and property, a desk and work area, spacious living room, and queen-sized bedroom. Local activities, Livingston Lake, the Sam Houston Wine Trail, and quaint downtown, are all within a few miles drive.

Just Chillin by the Lake

Relax and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful private lake with lakefront cabin. Full kitchen, with complimentary coffee and tea, queen bed, private full bathroom. A large, covered porch. Fire pit and charcoal grill are provided as well as a Kayak and paddle boat for your enjoyment. Kayak, fish, or swim or just chill on private pier. Check in 3:00 pm - Check out 11:00 am. Relax on the back porch overlooking our 9 acres of magnificent trees while sipping your morning coffee or playing cards as the evening winds down. Take a walk through the backyard along trails to a swing in the midst of this tranquil forest or be more adventurous and hike into an uncharted area of the Big Thicket bordering our backyard.

We are nestled on 8 acres in the Piney Woods and feature onsite creek fishing and walking trails, as well as a quaint outdoor entertaining space perfect for evening fires and stargazing. We're a short drive from the Big Thicket National Preserve, where you can enjoy hiking, biking, and canoeing, and, if you're feeling lucky, we're just 26 miles from the nearest casino.
