Holiday rentals with a patio in Hillsdale County

Perfect for what I needed while staying to attend a conference. The suite was clean, quiet and private. There were a couple issues, but Drew was quick to resolve them. I would stay here again!

Matt was very helpful and had great communication throughout the process.

Accidentally left an item when I checked out. In the evening when I realized Chelsea was still quick to respond and help me get the item back. Very helpful host.

Had a wonderful stay at Deborah’s. Quiet, peaceful, serene, lots of wildlife! Accommodations were very clean, comfortable, you had everything you need. Deborah was a wonderful hostess, we would highly recommend this spot to anyone!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautifully restored historic building in the heart of downtown Marshall! The space was thoughtfully decorated to highlight its original charm and architecture, making it feel both unique and cozy. The host went above and beyond — from the high-end cookware and china, every detail made us feel right at home. The location couldn’t be better, with a great coffee shop just downstairs and everything within walking distance. While there are stairs leading up to the apartment, they open to a lovely sitting area on the deck, which is well-lit and welcoming even for late-night arrivals. We’ll definitely be back — this place is a gem! 💫☕🏛️

My family and I booked Kathleen’s place for a wedding we had in town. We’re from out of state and had never stayed near Battle Creek before so weren’t sure what to expect. The place was easy to find, and everything was exactly as described! It was pristinely clean, the layout is thoughtful and spacious, and the views are incredible! The property is situated on beautiful rolling hills, and Kathleen has spared no detail in making sure you have everything you need to enjoy the indoor and outdoor spaces!! It’s perfectly secluded and private while only being a mile from the highway, and 5-20 minutes from everything we needed to access. On top of all this, Kathleen is proactive and always checking in making sure we had what we needed. Her instructions were clear, and she’s a very kind host. We are so grateful to her for opening her home to us! We can’t wait to come back!!

This house made it feel like we was at home. The beds were very comfy and clean. There were many extra blankets under the couch which was very nice to have. The deck is very big and enough room for many people and came with a beautiful view of the lake!

From the moment I walked into the house and Sue gave us a tour, I fell completely in love with it. It is exactly how it’s pictured and more. Sue went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. She thought of literally everything! The house is stocked and with 2 kids, I so appreciated it. Not to mention it was CLEAN! If you’re looking for a place to stay in hillsdale look no more. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

My stay in Emma's home was amazing. The word I kept coming back to was "sanctuary." While clearly an older home, everything was immaculately clean, freshly painted, and more than thoughtfully stocked with anything I might have needed in bathroom or kitchen. Towels were fluffy and the furniture was super comfy. All in all a tremendous blessing to stay in this home. We were so thankful to find it for the price that we did and hope we might be able to return. Thank you, Emma for your hospitality!

Reedsong cottage was the perfect get away spot for a relaxing weekend. It was clean and well put together. I can tell a lot of thought was put in to make it feel like home. The lake view was very pretty with the morning sunrise. Golf course was right near the property. Restaurants were just a 5-10 minute drive. Pizza delivery and some DoorDash were a nice option when I just wanted to stay in. It has a full kitchen if you want to cook. I had a question about how to lock the door and Stephanie responded right away with great instructions. Hillsdale has a little bit of everything for a small town. Finish line family diner was great for breakfast. You can tell they scratch cook. Birdies downtown was a very cute little shop. The farmers market seemed busy, but not as busy as the “sale barns.” Hillsdale college has a small but nice campus to drive through. Overall, I had a great time and I found the price to be very reasonable and the stay relaxing. I would stay there again!

Diana is a phenomenal host and an amazing communicator during all of our stays at her property. This was our four stay at her property over a two month period of time. We always look forward to coming back to this property when we are working in the area again. Thanks Diana

Lovely place. Very well maintained with rooms of Character. Nice Master Bath, Living Room, Front and Back Porch, and Back Yard. Well stocked. Watch out for the Bed Frame in the Master Bedroom! Legs stick out quite far and are dark, blending into the shadow of the bed. Stubbed my toes hard, but Mark said he would put padding on them.

Had a guys fishing trip and we were all impressed with this place. Practically brand new inside nicely laid out. Extremely clean! Great spot on the lake! The host was wonderful! This place is fully stocked with what you need! We will be back again as this will likely be an annual trip for us!

We had a great trip time. Very comfortable and really enjoyed learning about the house’s history.
