Absolutely wonderful, warm, and home-like stay! The space is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up to make you feel right at home. The host, Vivek, was incredibly generous and helpful throughout—from local recommendations to arranging trek guides through his contacts— he was always available and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The location is ideal—just a short walk from Hadimba Temple, and the view of the forest from the home is absolutely beautiful. Waking up to that peaceful greenery was such a treat. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet, comforting escape in Manali!

A beautiful stay nestled in the hills away from the commotion, a perfect way to beat the heat and the commotion of urban life. A superb, helpful and friendly family hosting us, made us feel right at home. A special shoutout to the host for managing to cook and provide us with a scrumptious dinner even when there was shortage of staff, and although we told him that we'll manage elsewhere, simply because he didn't want us to go hungry in the night. The host did everything in his power to make us feel at home and succeded with flying colours. Would definitely want to come back here for a longer stay.

We had a peaceful short stay at Nidhi’s. The property was just like the pictures—the view from the balcony and nearby stream was gorgeous. Its location was close to the airport, Dharamkot, Yol, and McLeod Ganj. Nidhi was an extremely accommodating host, sending over baked goods and extending flexibility with check out timings. We recommend eating at her bakery, where she graciously comped our breakfast! She also put us in contact with Sunny ji, who provided his cab services for the entirety of our trip and recommended us a place with the most delicious Himachali thali.

What can i say, this my home in manali, i don’t have to think even once. If the destination is manali , then this is the place where i am staying. I have had multiple stays at this place and it’s truly remarkable that the hosting standards vijju maintains are of the top class. You’ll feel like home , you’ll stay like home. The surroundings are lush and peaceful and view from the listing and the roof are absolutely beautiful. Its hard to usually find this listing available as its i guess favourite of many guests, but with a little planning, and communication with vijju , its gonna be fine. I must thank vijju and family for taking care of me always. Keep shining!!!

I have stayed in many properties of Airbnb in hills, but this was one of the best. Property is as described by Deepak. You look into Deodar forest from the property. Deepak is extra ordinary, proactive, humble and always ready to help. He arranged us local taxi in very reasonable price to visit mall road. Our family felt one week stay was too short for us. We have to come again very shortly. Thanks to Deepak and also his father for driving our car to petrol pump to get petrol.

We had an absolutely wonderful 6-day stay at Ambika’s Airbnb, and it was hard to leave this gem! The property is a spacious and beautiful retreat, nestled amidst stunning apple orchards that create a serene, peaceful, and private atmosphere. The location is perfect—tranquil yet conveniently just 500 meters from local amenities, offering the best of both worlds. The house itself is gorgeous, with plenty of room to relax and unwind. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, making our stay comfortable and memorable. The kitchen was well equipped, washing machine was helpful & water heaters helped a lot. Ambika was an exceptional host, incredibly helpful and responsive. She provided contacts for local services, which made exploring the area a breeze. The peaceful surroundings and the charm of the orchards made our stay truly special. We left feeling rejuvenated but sad to say goodbye. Highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone seeking a serene escape with all the comforts of home!

Yashpal's daughter Kiran had all the required details to help a visitor. She is non interfering, helpful and ready with the suggested itinerary. Guests can easily cook meals as per choice without any interference or inconvenience. All utensils were already available.

It's a beautiful property on a totally non crowded road. This can save you from the crazy traffic of hills. If you you are looking for a place that's calm and far away from mall roads, city then it's recommended. Nearest famous hill station Mall road is 1.3-2 hour away. Staff is really good and chef makes delicious food. Only indian and few chinese dishes though, i wish they had continental, italian food and a nice cafe life menu. Rooms are very neat and clean and staff is prompt to fulfill all your demands. small play area to play badminton, community cricket etc. we stayed for 4 nights but 2 night are good if you are only staying in property One can go on nice treks. Moderate hike and good for family walks. I would recommend it.

Even though it was a last-minute booking, I'm glad to have found the Herne Lodge. It really did feel like a home away from home. The hosts are some of the friendliest and warmest people I have met recently. They are completely invested in the well-being of their guests. As I was a solo female traveller, Mr and Mrs Khanna & their staff took great care of me, even calling me up to check on my well-being when I went out on my own. They also provided helpful and excellent recommendations in terms of things to do such as safe trekking routes and eateries in the neighbourhood and further away in Landour and Mall Road. It helps that they have a kitchen that serves up home-cooked meals for times when you don't want to head out. Even when I didn't or couldn't go out due to inclement weather conditions, it was great to relax with a book and a cup of masala chai and enjoy the gorgeous views from the shared balcony. I'd highly recommend the Herne Lodge for both families as well as solo travellers.

It was a really nice stay. Big windows and neat balcony for an awesome view, liked being close to McLeod Ganj with being inside it. Shower room is a good size and clean. There was enough kitchen appliances for basic cooking. Bed was comfortable. Nice range of books(mainly in English)

Mind blowing window views and extremely peaceful place . This beautiful studio apartment looks like a frame of love story . One should definitely try this lovely apartment .

First, what matters to all of us is a responsive Host. Saurav is super responsive, always available, and made us feel truly valued. I have been to so many Airbnb's and like all, this place was exactly how the pictures look. It's private yet not lonesome. I felt safe and secure with my family. I never need to think again, where I am staying in Simla. I felt sad leaving, because I could have stayed a month and Saurav's listing. Thank you Saurav. I can never forget the wonderful experience we had.

We had a wonderful stay at the BnB in McLeodGanj, and I can’t recommend it enough! The place is incredibly clean, cozy, and has such a welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home the moment you step in. Rama Aunty, the owner, goes above and beyond with her hospitality—she’s genuinely kind and attentive, making sure every guest feels special. One of the nicest touches was the little treats waiting in the room—chocolates and candies—which was such a thoughtful gesture and really made the stay extra sweet. I had a wonderful stay at this property! The place truly felt like home — cozy, clean, and exactly as shown in the pictures. The view from here is hands down the best in the city, especially during sunset — absolutely breathtaking! Everything was perfect, from the ambiance to the location. Very spacious, clean, kitchen fully equiped. locality is great and secure. a little on the outskirts far from diesel smell, evening are mostly cool. This stay made me feel like I am in mountains. If you’re looking for a cozy, private mountain retreat with amazing views, this is the perfect place. The property is exactly as shown in the profile - calm and beautiful. It's just a short hike to Naggar Castle, nearby temples, and also close to the local chawk and eateries, making it convenient for exploring. Initially planned to stay for a week but ended up extending my stay there. The owner's family lives on the property and they were incredibly welcoming, always ready to help with any requests. Siddharth was also very responsive, assisting with anything I needed. Just a note: The Wi-Fi is pretty good (40mbps), but if you’re planning a workation, it’s a good idea to have a strong mobile network to use your hotspot as a backup. I will surely choose this place again if I come back.

My base in Shimla for four days, I was really delighted with Katy's Place. To start with, Prerna was extremely helpful in directing the taxi driver through narrow roads to reach the front gate. Thus, my arrival was as smooth as possible. As co-host Naresh points out on a notice inside the property, obtaining cleaning staff who do an A1 job is expensive in the city. Perhaps a few areas (the shower tray corners, faces of the kitchen cabinet doors) could have be slightly cleaner, but if I were to apply such standards to hotels, I doubt whether most would pass. The mattress in the master bedroom is perhaps the most comfortable I have slept on. Lying in bed at night, with the curtains drawn slightly apart, you can marvel at the glittering lights of Shimla stretching out before you. Really, the view from all the windows is outstanding, but the balcony has the best view. Both Naresh and Prerna were in regular contact to check all was going well. Queries answered often within minutes.

Beautiful, lovely space situated on a farm like area. Beautiful sunshine, quiet, and near the most incredible mountains ever. Absolutely loved going for long runs around here, and won’t forget this place. I much preferred this place to another one that I had stayed in that had more wild dogs etc. around constantly barking in the alleyways. This place was much nicer, and very safe.

One of the best Bnb i have ever stayed in, the location was perfect, the view was amazing from the property, the staff was well responsive. Overall a good stay, felt just like my own mountain home.

Zorby was the warmest host i have ever witnessed. His house was lovely and the place is absolutely serene and beautiful. Cozy, lovely stay in the lap of lush green mountains with an always available caretaker named ‘Happy’ who is always always there to make you feel home. It was a very wonderful stay and i am definitely coming back again with my family.
