Perfect place to stay on NH-5 just right next to Toy Train track in the peaceful environment. The host both Mother n Son is very helpful and polite. highly recommend for this place.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully maintained and fully furnished apartment in Shimla. The place was exactly as shown in the photos — clean, cozy, and with stunning views. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of having a collection of novels and games that kept the kids happily engaged. The host was always responsive and helpful, and the on-site caretaker and cook made our stay even more comfortable. One small feedback we shared about RO servicing was graciously acknowledged by the host, which reflects their genuine care for guest experience. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and well-managed stay in Shimla! We would love to visit this place again in future!!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) We had a wonderful stay at Bishamji’s homestay! The place is peaceful and offers a breathtaking view of the entire Kinner Kailash range right from the property. Bishamji’s son and his wife were very warm, responsive, and took great care of us throughout our stay. Dinner was absolutely delicious – homemade and full of flavor. A special highlight for us was how much our daughter enjoyed playing with their friendly pets! Also, the popular “Suicide Point” is just about 2 km away, making it a convenient spot to explore. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and scenic getaway in the mountains.

This is one place where we could really enjoy God’s created mountains. This is for now away from human destruction. You can see mountains without houses and garbage which is a rare sight these days. We have been to Rohtang and the mountains there are filled with garbage and human excretion. We have been to Simla, Manali, Dalhousie, McLeodganj, Kasauli, Mussoorie etc. However, all those mountains are weeping under the pressure of matchbox like construction. I doubt if the virginity of this place would remain so for long but it is worth enjoying till it is there. A humble request to visitors would be to not pollute the place and be decent enough to pick the garbage thrown by human beings.

Both bedrooms are spacious, with large windows that let in fresh mountain air and natural light. The views from the balcony are absolutely serene, especially when it rains — surrounded by greenery and mist. The location is easy to find, with parking right outside the house which was a big plus for us. It's also very accessible to nearby attractions. The host was incredibly lovely — responsive, kind, and welcoming. Every detail was taken care of to make us feel comfortable. The place was very clean and well-maintained. You can tell a lot of love has gone into setting it up. We will definitely be coming back again and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a peaceful and refreshing getaway.

We stayed at Superna’s Airbnb in Barog – a truly wonderful experience! Our group had a mix of bikers and those who came by car. The property is beautifully done with two cozy bedrooms, a spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen (utensils + oven), and a charming balcony with a swing and fresh mountain breeze. Perfect for relaxing. The caretaker was excellent – super helpful and coordinated everything smoothly, including helping us reach the place. One small challenge: the property was a bit hard to locate as nearby signage isn’t very visible, and there’s a short but steep and narrow stretch of road that may be tricky for some cars. Parking, however, is ample and safe. Overall, a fantastic stay – peaceful, comfortable, and totally worth it!

Great stay. The place is off the main road on a narrow stretch. Not very easy for a SUV to get around. Special mention to their caretaker Suman, who made super tasty and homely meals for us. Definitely recommend!

He truly lives up to his name and adds such a positive and comforting energy to the entire experience. The best part? He’s just a phone call away, which really helped us feel secure and supported, especially since the homestay is located a bit away from the central buzz of the city. Anil was a wonderful host and loved his charming bungalow in Salogra which is located right above the poster card pretty Salogra station, one of the stops for the toy train to Shimla. So if you are coming by train just hop on the train from Kalka station and you will be at the doorstep of Anil's homestay. It can be a micro mini trek to this pretty abode but as hill trekkers and walkers it was an added plus. There is a mini kitchenette with a fridge and gas stove etc.. and Anil generously provides all kinds of little goodies (including instant noodles) to resolve midnight food and chai cravings. This is a major plus especially if you dont want to preplan your meals or your stay. All the folks from the plains who visit the hills to recharge - Salogra, Anil, his pet Bholu and the home wont disappoint you one wee bit.
