Holiday rentals with beach access in Himalayas

Absolutely loved our stay at this cozy sanctuary in Rishikesh! The place was compact yet thoughtfully designed, offering every essential amenity – from a well-equipped kitchen to clean bathrooms and, most importantly, convenient parking. It was perfect for a comfortable family getaway. A special shoutout to Mohit Singh, who truly made our experience exceptional. His warm hospitality and seamless coordination ensured we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was smooth and stress-free, always available to help with any questions or requests. This apartment is absolutely beautiful and in great location across a nice park. We enjoyed our host Jyoti very much. She is extremely nice, pleasant and friendly. Everything about her place is more than what we expected. Thanks Jyoti for being a great host.

Responsive hosts, clean area and short walk to the beach. AC window units are in the rooms, not shown in the Airbnb photos. Although it wouldn’t have prevented me from booking the room, it was difficult to hear the TV in the living room due to the AC. Overall, nice area. Will book there again for a family vacation.

Wow! This has been an awesome memorable experience. Meena aunty is fabulous. She is a perfect host who takes care of your needs and fulfills it. Her apartment is perfectly located to enjoy nature and breathtaking view of mountains and river. On top of it is sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. There's pretty much everything that you need and rest is a phone call away. Something which makes this experience ultra special is Meena aunty's personal touch. She makes you feel comfortable and treats you like family ( lot of care). During your stay she will keep checking if you need anything. Both Meena aunty and Mr Anand were superb. I felt special and would like to return again . Thank you

The place was amazing—quiet and peaceful. The host was polite and responsive. There was some renovation work happening in the parking area, but the host informed us about it before confirming the booking and asked if we were comfortable with it. You can see the Ganga ji right from your balcony.

Had an amazing stay at Vishal’s Airbnb! The place was spotless, well-maintained, and in a perfect location—just a short walk to Lakshman Jhula. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby, making it super convenient. Vishal was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stay. Chetan ji is great host and make sure all arrangements are in order. Food is great and gives feel of home food. Thanks to his wife. Location of property is excellent. We enjoyed lot during our stay and highly recommend to others. House is very nicely built to have lot of common areas to sit and enjoy.

It was very nice spending 2 days out there. Caretaker was also very sweet, he helped us with everything. Rooms were clean, overall good experience. It’s just there was some issue of electricity which they fixed later.

If you want to be at a little more secluded and peaceful place, than the populous Jibhi riverside, this place fits perfectly. Your rooms face directly the eastern hilltops where you can witness early sunrise directly from your rooms. As this place is 5-10 minutes away from the riverside, it's not packed with tourists and vehicles. You can take your early morning strolls and experience the scenic beauty around you. The hosts are also very friendly and helpful. They are super responsive and have authentic homemade food options in case you're tired and don't want to go to a restaurant. Just a little heads up - it's better to receive the cottage's location beforehand from the hosts. Relying on Airbnb's location pin isn't recommended. Also, confirm with your driver if he/she is not fixated upon a particular car parking spot - as this cottage is 5-10 minutes of drive from the area where most drivers are used to parking their vehicles.

A real positive review amongst all the fake ones in India 😅 I honestly couldn’t have been happier with this accommodation. It exceeded my expectations. I stayed here for a week in total. It is on the pricer side for Rishikesh but it looks exactly like in the pictures and I had so called “care takers” staying right next to me available for any requests or questions I had. Any minor problem was immediately fixed. Bed is very comfortable, full amenities in the room like microwave, kettle, water, tea, ac, fans, etc. (except washing machine but that’s apparently very normal here as well). Location is great, ganga right in front of the door, shops in the back side and ram jhula within 5 min walking distance. I was welcomed like a princess and I 100% recommend this stay 🙂

Best place to stay. Great view and great host. Always there if you need anything and suggestions. Been there twice and will be booking again whenever visiting there. Highly recommended!

Overall good stay

So l, this is like a finders keepers! hate to share their warm welcome, support and help throughout but it's not limited to me and I understand.. ! The best couple to share your home stay and they literally make you feel like they are one of your extended family ! I will not detail it out but the way they were, it's simply outstanding! epitome of hospitality and cherished relationship! if you are staying in this area or near by sector then please visit them and you will have memorable time of your life !

We had a wonderful stay at Shalu's place. It has everything a good Airbnb should offer. It is centrally located, is very well maintained and gives a homely vibe. Will recommended to consider it, specially if you want to save money and avoid costly hotels and resorts during peak season.
