The Neckertal is a romantic, dreamy valley with many hiking and biking opportunities and is located between the two tourist destinations Appenzellerland and Toggenburg.

This newly renovated holiday apartment is located in the peaceful, idyllic foothills of the Alps at 1000 m above sea level. On our active farm with dairy cows, you can experience real farm life up close – from watching milking to daily farm work. A highlight are our young animals, including alpacas, calves and piglets, as well as pigs, bees, chickens, cats and our very child-friendly dog. Welcome to Appenzellerland, in the valley of the Silvesterchläuse, in Urnäsch, an old house with a separate entrance, a nice place to sit, directly on the Urnäsch (stream) and the Postbus stop towards Schwägalp, the duplex apartment was renovated in the 1970s, with a small kitchen and a spacious living room to linger in, simple, quiet and cozy and good to know, in the other part of the house (private entrance) my parents live, but this does not affect you.

The loft in the former old schoolhouse is a special accommodation and offers you an idyllic location near the forest, perfect for hiking and exploring. In the evenings it is quiet here and you can end your time in complete relaxation in the light-flooded room. In the village about 2km away you will find enough restaurants. (5min by car) In the forest there is a Swiss-family fireplace, a plant trail and for the little guests a Farytail-trail.

The cozily furnished studio (first floor) is located at 800 meters above sea level in a quiet residential area. From the sunny seating area you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Alpstein (Säntis). A grill bowl is available there. The bus or Appenzellerbahn train can be reached within a 10-minute walk. Within 10 km there are various leisure facilities (mini golf, swimming pools, hiking, skiing, biking).
