It is exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of close proximity to nature. On the edge of a jøl, created by the river its millennial striving to reach the fjord, the cabin hovers partly in the terrain. Lying all by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking cultural landscapes and rural areas, this is a perfect city for both relaxation and activity.

Here you can enjoy a rural setting with a short distance to the hiking trails for the mountains, relax on the terrace, fishing, or take a walk on Folkestadsetra with good swimming and barbecue possibilities. If you want a day trip to famous attractions, you can drive to Geiranger, Via Ferrata & Loen Skylift, Kannesteinen, Refviksanden, Krakenes Lighthouse, Hakallegarden or the Alps. The possibilities are many:)

Our home is the perfect place to make your dream come true!

Cabin in Dalsbygd

Cozy cabin next to the main road, one mile from Folkestad in Volda municipality. The cabin is located for itself and has a bullpen, here you can fish and swim. The cabin is simple and has four beds, as well as living room and kitchen in one with single standard. Here is a balcony and a garage where there is both a grill and sun loungers you can use. Otherwise, electric heating is here, but also a wood room and by you can use.

Whether you love sipping wine on the balcony to the sound of the nearby river, or enjoying stunning fjord views from a mountaintop, our cabin offers the perfect retreat for idyllic moments. P.S! Don't miss the famous Runde bird mountain with the lunde birds, just a short 30-minute drive away!

The house is an art studio where the host paints paintings and makes pottery in addition to renting it out. It is an open large room of 90m2 with lots of light and window. It is very green and nice around the house in spring and summer and early autumn. It is 5 min from the fast boat and ferry berth that leads to Ålesund and Vigra airport. Here is a short distance to Sunnmørsalpane,Ålesund, Runde,Geiranger.

Within an hour or two when you knew places like Geiranger, Åndalsnes, Loen and the amazing bird island Runde. The Atlanterhavsparken in Ålesund is also worth a visit.
