The Studio Somers

Once a beach shack, became an artist’s studio, then rescued as a comfortable home and holiday escape, close to the beach and Somers General Cafe. A wonderful place to sit and relax, walk on the beach or explore local wineries and farm produce. In order to safely manage the conditions brought with COVID (and maintain our low tariff) we introduced a 3 night minimum. We are now able to offer a 2 night stay but this is at a higher rate than a stay for 3 nights or more. Please enquire for the rate.

Hampton beach house Cowes

Come and stay in our new Hampton Style Beach house in Philip Island, Cowes. It has 3 bedrooms which can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests, and well-behaved pets are welcome. We have recently installed a new kitchen, new euro laundry, and 2 new bathrooms, and transformed the rear deck into an alfresco/dining for 8. The front veranda includes separate meals and seating areas which are a standout feature of this charming property. The block is fully fenced and includes a double garage/games room.

Offering two bedrooms, master with a king-sized bed, 2nd bedroom with single bed plus double bed with bunk over. Dual access ensuite/bathroom, large living & kitchen area & a private courtyard at the rear. All linen (except for beach towels) is included. Additional features include; pet friendly, reverse cycle heating/cooling, single car garage plus off-street parking for 1 car.

The property is located in peaceful, residential area of Mount Eliza, backing on to a small Nature Reserve. The accommodation suits couples or singles (1 Queen size bed offered), well behaved pets are welcome. The guesthouse is in close proximity to the main residence but it is in separate building with it's own access through the side gate. Internet and Netflix available.
