Serviced apartment holiday rentals in Hoàn Kiếm Lake

It is easy to walk around in the Midding area. It's a vacant lot right in front of you, but it's not noisy. If Midding is Korean town, this place across the street has a little more local feel. We have everything you need. The bed was clean and the kitchen utensils were all well equipped. The cooling worked well. It wasn't luxurious, but it was perfect for the price. Thank you.

The apartment was fantastic. Everything is thoughtfully laid out: it’s compact but efficient. The kitchen is small but well-stocked, with a microwave, electric kettle, induction hot plate, and all necessary dishes and utensils. They sold me large bottles of drinking water throughout my stay. The shower is great, with plenty of hot water. The view from the windows is lovely, and there are lots of windows. The neighborhood can be a bit noisy (construction, football revelry), but the double-panel glass blocked out almost all of the noise and I slept peacefully every night. Tracy was responsive and helpful: she’d always answer my messages within a few minutes and helped me to troubleshoot the few problems I had. E.g. my electric kettle stopped working, and she provided a new one immediately. I’ve stayed in Hà Nội many times, and this is my favorite apartment. Highly recommended!

Great stay. The pictures are a bit older than the current state of the apartment; however, it was clean and equipped with the essentials :) Location is a bit outside the city so if you like the calm it is a good place.

Mai was a great host. She answered all questions and concerns promptly both before check-in and during our stay. When we arrived a few things were not as pictured or promised, and she had the staff correct them faster than one would think possible. On the downside, the promised view of "All rooms feature big window with stunning view over West Lake and beautiful landscape" was not true. The bedroom window looked out over a side street that was fine. But the living room/dining area had a view of a roof directly abutting the window, with a large water tank on top and then construction. There was no view of a lake or any landscape. The noise from the construction was bothersome at times, but never in the evening, so if you are out all day it would not be an issue. There are grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance.

Spacious place in a quiet neighborhood. Easy check in and out. Good location.

The accommodation is close to the center, very convenient for traveling to many surrounding attractions. The area is quiet, private and has lots of trees. The apartment owner is always supportive and responds to messages quickly.

I'm from the USA and I lived at Tofu's house for 2 months while working in Hanoi at the hospital. It felt just like home. The hosts were incredibly responsive and very helpful and kind when i had a dripping faucet (they replaced it immediately). The place was cozy, quiet, and private. I loved sitting both in the lobby to get work done as well as on the roof with the 5 cats! They became my great friends. Thank you for having me <3

This apartment was the highlight of my stay in Hanoi! (I moved around a bit as I was staying for a while). Truc bach is an ideal location - 3 mins to an incredible sunset view, and generally very close to the old quarter (10 mins by bike). The apartment was so comfortable - the bed was amazing, the shower pressure was in incredible and generally I had the best time. I even extended my stay for three more nights here.

Vivian was an absolutely delightful host: attentive, kind, and always ready to help. She made sure we had everything we needed, from baking utensils to flower vases, and communication was always smooth and straightforward. We stayed for a month, and the apartment was exactly what we were looking for: a cozy little cocoon in Hanoi, tucked away from the chaos of the city center. It offered a beautiful view and was very well connected to the rest of the city by bus. As some reviews have mentioned, the apartment does look a bit older than in the photos, but Vivian let us know she was planning to repaint right after our stay, so it should look even better now! Other than that, we had an amazing time and wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you so much for everything, Vivian: we highly recommend your place!

Alex’s apartment is amazing. Very comfortable bed, awesome bathroom, and great amenities. The pool and gym are great even for a fee they were worth it. Alex is also an amazing host and answered all of the questions we had. Will definitely recommend to anyone coming to Hanoi.

Very nice and private area in the bustling city of Hanoi where you can feel peace throughout the entire day. 2mins walk to the nearest convenient store and some local & Japanese food around the vicinity. Many bars open at night but I didn’t visit. Cafe right below the apartment and many more within few minutes of walk in either directions, spoilt for choices! There’s also a department store about 7 mins of walking along the main road where you can visit and do some shopping. Will definitely come back again to stay when I visit Hanoi again :)

The space is very good. Well located, quiet but close to the busy areas. The apartment is a good size and there are cleaning services for longer stays. I highly recommend it!

I spent four months in this apartment, which is a long time, so my review is primarily intended for long-term stays. 5/5 for the Airbnb itself and the communication. If something wasn’t as expected, it was fixed immediately (e.g., there was an issue with the washing machine, and it was repaired quickly). Plus, I really appreciated the included cleaning service, which was done once per week. 4/5 for the building itself (I’m not giving it 5/5 due to the noise you can hear from everywhere—primarily from the neighbors in my case). 0/5 for the male receptionist who tried to scam me multiple times :)) 5/5 for the location—I believe it’s the best for long-term stays. I loved it. 5/5 overall because I felt safe, and the location was great for me. Plus, communication with the host (in my case, Tran) was always smooth, with no issues. The biggest downsides for me were the noise and the reception.
