The cabin was built on a base of a hillside that overlooks a beautiful creek that crosses our land, and also overlooks a beautiful 20 acre meadow, that the local wildlife love to enjoy. Our stay at this cabin was so wonderful! We spent the day hiking from ash cave to cedar falls to old Man’s cave - it was very close and such a beautiful hike. 30 minutes from OU campus where we had dinner and toured around. The hot tub and fire pit were so relaxing for the evening! The cabin was clean and perfect for a family or friends to get away for the weekend! It was clean and had everything we needed to cook and relax. The host responded immediately and was so kind. We will definitely be booking again!!

We had a fantastic stay at this hip, cozy A-frame! The hot tub and sauna were such a treat after a day of hiking, and the fire pit made for the perfect evening unwind. My 5-year-old daughter and her friend had an absolute blast. Mornings on the porch with coffee were peaceful and relaxing. Thanks for the wonderful stay—we’d love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Green Emerald very much. From the peaceful, natural surroundings to the clean, beautiful home, it was truly a treat. The Hocking Hills area had so much to do we couldn’t fit it all in. Brandon’s place was well situated and convenient to many different activities. Host was responsive and offered great suggestions for places to eat, wineries, etc. We will be back in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay! It was our first time to the Hocking Hills area. We were very close to a variety of the hiking areas and close to restaurants. The patio area was great to enjoy our morning coffee. And it was nice to have a relaxing spot to come back to at the end of the day.

First, I just wanna say thank you for a great location, great communication and answering all the questions I had so quickly and clearly. You helped me out in a lot of ways and I really do appreciate that everywhere from pricing to delivering firewood to my front door late at night. The location is amazing, especially if you wanted to adventure out into the different hiking trails or do excursions like horseback riding or zip lining. The property itself is beautiful, literally placed on the side of a cliff/mountain side. The cabin has everything you need as far as cooking utensils cleaning supplies, toiletries, blanket, a huge DVD collection, games and so on.
