Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Hokkaido

Nice stay, it’s a different place as it’s a coffee shop which is used as an air BnB it seems but it was good! It would benefit from some darker blinds and maybe a sofa to relax instead of just coffee tables and chairs. Location and host were excellent, we would stay again!

it was a really comfortable stay. For 6 of us there were 4 tatamis and 2 beds. Towels and toiletries provided were nicely organised into 6 baskets as well including bath bombs which we enjoyed. Facilities and other small items provided in the house were well thought through - including cables for electronic devices, hairdryer, facial wash and even toner, scissors, utensils... we had everything we needed and more. Location is an easy drive to Lake Toya along a nice scenic coastal route, whole there were many fruit farms to see on the other side.

Second House Otaru is a helpful and responsive host. The house is spacious and has the necessary amenities. It's also located near places of interest. Otaru is an interesting city, and we had an enjoyable time here. Thank you Second House for hosting us at Otaru! 😊

Yukiko’s home is in a great location close to Hakodate and a nice base for exploring Onuma Park. The home is beautiful and well stocked with everything you would want for a family vacation. We hope to return again.

living on top a mountain is nice especially without city light pollution, you can see the night stars. How I miss the night sky where you can see the stars.

We had a great stay in Hakodate! Beautiful little town with lots to do - it was nice having a private home during our stay where we could cook etc 😊

5 people stayed 2 nights. They were very kind and accommodating, and we had a pleasant time. The facilities, etc. were clean and well-equipped, and I did not feel any inconvenience. It was a relaxing space, as if I were at home, so I was able to relax and heal my fatigue after going out. There is also a convenience store nearby, and it is convenient to be within walking distance for anything.

This listing is a little away from the city center, but close Mt. Hakodate and other cultural places. It is accessible by stairs (2nd floor) and has a convenient parking. A mini kitchen helps to cook fresh food but lacks basic items like salt. The apartment itself doesn't have a clear view, but you do when stepping outside.

Really big place especially for a couple. The check in and out process was very easy. We had a car while we were here and nothing was too far away. Felt easy to explore the area with the location. Would absolutely stay here again.

Big apartment, definitely worth the money and the location is very good with a shop and public transport right outside

Was very useful for us to be able to use the garage to store our bikepacking bikes during a brief stop in Sapporo

Lovely big house, kind host! Easily fit 6 guests. House has all needed amenities, including many towels. The host very kindly drove us at 5:00 AM to the station when we needed to go to the airport. Would stay again.

It is a very nice place to stay. The only downside was that the view is blocked by trees. But comfortable and okay for the price paid. Would recommend.

Absolutely an amaizing place to stay! The house is clean, fully furnished, comfortable and feels like home. Looks exactly like in the pictures. It is just a few minutes minutes walk to a subway station, to supermarket, drugstores and restaurants. A few km walk to Hokkaido University. Quiet neighborhood and a safe place place to stay for families with young children. Yuri was easy to talk to, responds quickly and very considerate! Our flight to Sapporo was early and it is not yet check-in time but she was really was kind enough to let us drop our baggage in the garage so we can start exploring without worrying about oue heavy luggage. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ recommended!

Interesting house layout! Cool that the beds are on the loft and the living area is at the ground floor. Stand out would be the shower area, good bathroom and space

朱里's cozy cottage by the road is definitely peaceful and close to the nature. We even spotted a deer right in front! 朱里 is very friendly and responsive. He provided clear instructions to check-in and how to operate the onsen, which is super relaxing after a long-day road trip. The cottage is very spacious for a family of five. Thanks 朱里 for hosting us. Highly recommended!

We stayed 6 nights with our family of 5 and would absolutely return. The house itself was exactly as described. it was a wonderful space for relaxing, cooking, reading (so many kids books!!), and enjoying the beauty of the area. Elise in particular is among the best hosts we've met. She welcomed us with some local goodies, gave excellent recommendations, and even went so far as to bring diapers when we ran out and could not find any at the stores we checked. Thanks again for everything!

Spacious, well equipped house in a quiet little neighbourhood less than 5 minutes from some of the greatest powder runs in the world. Everything is super accessible by car, but you’ll end up wanting to spend more time in the house - especially since it’s so hard to get restaurant bookings in Niseko. The kitchen is well equipped, a huge dining/living space, and the den is a great place to hang out, watch tv or play Xbox. The onsen in the house was so nice we ended up not going to the paid onsen just up the road. It’s amazing to wake up to the soft sound of snow falling off the roof. Super easy to get into the house - no need to wait for anybody, just get the code and you are good to go.

Awesome place to stay for a group ski trip! The house is way bigger than we expected with plenty of space to sleep 7 people in individual beds. Very clean and very responsive host. Would come back to stay again!! Be aware there is an additional tax required prior to checkout that isn’t included in the price.

A spacious house with its own onsen, sauna and lots of exciting nature all around. A great mix for a pleasant, natural stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
