A fantastic stay in York, the location was perfect and the host was very easy to get in touch with if needed.

Home from home. What a wonderful place! It was our first time visiting York and we had such a brilliant time, we will definitely be back! And we wouldn’t stay anywhere else other than Graeme’s place! The accommodation was within walking distance of the town centre and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The place was spotless throughout, the bed was very comfortable with good quality bed linen and the shower had good pressure. We were enjoying ourselves so much we ended up staying extra night! Thanks again Graeme for a lovely stay :)

Very nice place to stay near downtown York. Walk was a little complicated due to construction. Excellent accommodations. House was very clean and owners responsive. Highly recommend 😊

An amazing beautiful house in a wonderful location! Stunning Victorian townhouse in a great location close to the centre and everything walkable. Lovely restaurants n your doorstep - would reccommend Valentino’s. The house has everything you need and if you have a little one, they literally have everything to keep them happy, books, playhouse, play kitchen, toys, literally everything. Great sized beds, beautiful lounge - me and my extended family had a great weekend. Hosts were really great, very helpful with lots of hints and tips for local places and places to visit. A perfect stay in York :-)

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We really appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The jacuzzi was lovely! The hosts were great at providing us with all the information we needed for a stress free check in/out and a perfect stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mini break. Peacocks were a lovely surprise seeing them walk around the estate. Thanks again! A fantastic location with parking but perfect if you are foot. Easy access from the station and into the city. The accommodation was as specified, nicely furnished and fully kitted out if you want to cook, iron etc. Overlooking the city walls but a quiet location nevertheless. We has a very happy stay.

The apartment was very clean, tidy, modern, cozy and very bright. In overall, it is a lovely place which made us feel very comfortable. It had everything we needed during our stay and everything was as described and shown in the photos. The area is very safe and quiet but also comfortable when it comes to getting to the railway station, which for us was perfect as we had many luggage and didn't need to pay a taxi. It is also close to the centre and can get there by walking. The building itself is also clean, safe, green and quiet. Mark and Donna were really obliging, they answered all our questions, helped us with everything and had everything sorted. I would definitely recommend the place to anyone visiting York!

Listing is as advertised. Stairs to unit are easy to climb. Such a wonderful cozy place to stay. The bed and pull out were both quite comfortable. Seems recently renovated, nice touches with decor items. The Shambles is across the street. A perfect place to stay while in York. Lovely rooftop views.Quiet inside the flat.Glad we stayed here!

A lovely few days away with my 10 year old in a fun and quirky place full of character and thought. Great to be able to park on the street as York city centre parking is extortionate. Lots of fun touches in the accommodation. The weather was hot when we were there, so a fan of lighter sheets would have been a welcome addition.

We had a lovely two night stay in Clare's Penthouse apartment. The view was nice across the rooftops making everything light and airy. A perfect place to return to after a busy day exploring York. We came by train and the shortcut to the apartment was excellent. Thank you Clare for keeping in touch, being so flexible and for the lovely treats you left for us.

Laura's place was walkable to everything and also very close to the lovely museum gardens. The accomodation was clean and welcoming with everything we needed. Laura provided great welcome instructions. A lovely stay.

The garden flat is a lovely find tucked away a short, pleasant walk from the centre of York. It is well furnished and maintained. The place was immaculate and felt homely too. It was quiet and peaceful and just what is needed after a busy day in the centre. John is a responsive host, but you feel separate from the house and have the space to enjoy your time. Bedding and towels were high end and instructions of how to use all appliances were clear and accurate.

Jackie’s spacious Airbnb was 5 star+. This was the best Airbnb we had stayed in. The location was peaceful and quiet. Jackie had thought of everything to make it feel like home. Beautifully and tastefully furnished. The kitchen had everything required to self cater. The basket of goodies was much appreciated. Very comfortable bed with extra pillows and crisp white linen. The large bathroom included a washing machine and a fabulous shower. Communication with Jackie was easy and she was quick to respond to my questions. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone visiting York and it’s surrounds.

This is one of the nicest Airbnb properties we've stayed in. Beautifully kept, clean apartment, with super-comfy furnishings and a proper personality with real artwork, thoughtful decor, interesting books, and even a piano. It was easy to access with a simple lock code and key, and walkable to the middle of town in about 20 minutes with plenty of eateries etc on the way. Nice quiet area but close to the action. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay … the apartment was comfortable, light & airy with a pretty view out to the garden and the walls of York. Very easy walking distance to everything you would want to see & do in York. Great local restaurants. Could not recommend this apartment enough!!
