Our apartment is located outside the city center. On foot you can reach it in about 20 minutes along the idyllic Fleth to the harbor, the jetty, the dike or the market square.

From this centrally located accommodation, you can take the regional express from Ahrensburg station to Hamburg Central Station in 20 minutes. The cozy summer cottage is located directly on the lake and is located on the same approx. 3500 m² property as our house (approx. 45 m away). At the end of the cul-de-sac, it is very quiet, surrounded by nature. The sofa in the living room can be used as a sofa bed if necessary. Ideal for couples, friends, a small family or all alone.

Take a look into the timeless retro charm of our cottage on the dike in Balje. The rural life, the expanses of the outdoor area as well as the large garden, where fruit trees are also to be found, invite you to slow down. From the upper floor, you can look at the Elbe with its shipping traffic to and from Hamburg. Nestled between Cuxhaven and Stade, many small places also offer for bike and motorcycle riders, beautiful routes and opportunities for shopping and lingering.
