Family-friendly holiday rentals in Holmes Beach

This home was the perfect place to stay for our family vacation. Charlie was responsive and provide incredible recommendations anytime we asked. The yard was private and secure and the neighborhood was quiet. The home has everything we needed! We didn't have to travel more than 30 minutes to beaches, delicious restaurants and ice cream. I would absolutely stay here again!

Roy’s place was comfortable, had good amenities, good location ( multiple beaches and restaurants in a close radius). The house was beautiful and just as described. The pool/hot tub, and outdoor seating was private and well maintained. Chairs, umbrella, and cooler were available to use which was a nice plus. We would definitely love to stay at this place again. Roy was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Cozy little place, well decorated and clean. Bed was comfy. The pull out bed was good enough for my 6 yr old, but would recommend bringing a pillow for it if you’re going to use it. There isn’t one in the room for it unless you use the main bedroom pillows. We beached most of the time and didn’t watch TV, but if we wanted to the couch wasn’t comfy for lounging around. We loved the balcony though! The only “complaint” would be all the coffee supplied was decaf and it was a shock the first morning after getting in super late. So, bring your own coffee just in case. Host was super helpful when there was any other issues. Very kind and accommodating! Plus they supplied plenty of TP and PT, beach towels and towels. Can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing stay at the Bombshell Beach House! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could need, plenty of towels, linens, and even luxury toiletries. The beds were incredibly comfortable (I bought the same pillows after sleeping so well!). The views were stunning, perfect for morning coffee or watching dolphins. It was a short, easy walk to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques. The pool and hot tub were a hit with our whole family, from our toddler to teens. What made this place truly special was the thoughtful checkout, we didn’t have to take out trash or do dishes, which made it feel like a real vacation. We still tidied up a bit, but it was so refreshing not to have a chore list at the end. Everything about our stay was relaxing, thoughtful, and easy. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our return. Highly recommend!

We had a great vacation at Mel’s place! We liked the amenities - putting green, shuffle board, pool, tennis courts, and pickle ball. Mel was great with communication and attentive when we needed him. Also, quick to respond. The condo had everything we needed. Only thing we would change is sharper knives. They were pretty dull for cooking/cutting up stuff. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect oasis for a tropical getaway! Everything was just as described. Really enjoyed the use of bikes and Honeymoon Island is absolute paradise! Lori ands Gary were very attentive and quickly handled anything we needed!

Robert was a great host! Lots of great local recommendations. His place was extremely clean and had everything you could need. Well stocked with essentials. Close to Indian Shores Beach and Clearwater Beach. Had chairs, umbrella and cooler to use at the beach, great amenity!! You won’t be disappointed!! Highly recommend to stay at Roberts place and we plan to be back soon!!

This is our third time staying at Jonathan and Gretchen’s properties and they are all fantastic! Everything you need and more. Local host Ron is also fantastic and very helpful and fast to respond! A+ all the way around! A must stay if you want to go to Sarasota!

Maggie’s place is perfect!! So convenient to everything you need!! Everything in house that you would need and also everything you need to go to the beach!!! Maggie is very fast to responding to any questions you have!! 5 star for sure!!

Jeffery’s rental was perfect. He has such an eye for detail and it’s beautifully decorated. Our view of the ocean from the sitting area outside the rental was spectacular! The space contained everything you would possibly need and was extremely comfortable. This is our second stay at Shell Cove 1 and we highly recommend it to others.

Lisa was a great host, and paradise by the beach is an awesome place to stay. My family of 4 (2 adults and our older teens) just loved being able to have a lot of space (compared to the hotel rooms on st Pete beach) and a full kitchen and a close walk to the beach. The kids loved riding the bikes to get an ice cream at night, and it was so easy and convenient to pack up the chairs and umbrella and walk over to the beach. The walk is actually shorter than the resorts we have stayed at on spb. It was kind of like settling into our home by the beach—very comfy and convenient with everything we needed. Lots of tvs, lots of space, easy to get around. I also liked having a fully equipped kitchen—only made dinner one night, but everything we needed was there! We’d definitely again and prefer it to the other resorts we have stayed at. It’s less expensive, more convenient, and a lot more space. Thank you so much, Lisa! We hope your space is available next time we come down!

La casa estuvo muy acogedora, limpia y cómoda. Había todo lo necesario para ir a la playa, sillas, toldo, toallas, cava… Estaba a muy poca distancia de la playa y de otros lugares de interés. En la cocina tuvimos incluso más de lo que se pudiera esperar para este tipo de alojamientos, por lo que, te podías sentir como en casa. La piscina estaba realmente limpia. En cuanto a este último punto, les recomiendo que sean más claros en cuanto al horario de uso de la piscina y de la BBQ. Entendemos que es un vecindario tranquilo, sin embargo, también deben considerar que no todos los huéspedes son personas ruidosas, también viajamos familias y personas decentes que respetamos las reglas, pero el anuncio debe ser claro y honesto para que uno pueda decidir correctamente. Dicen que las luces encienden y apagan automáticamente PERO NO DICEN QUE UNO NO TIENE CONTROL SOBRE ELLAS. Llegamos de la playa luego de ver el ocaso 8:30PM a hacer BBQ y de repente todo quedó oscuro ESO ESTUVO MUY MAL.

I would definitely stay here again and again. We were delighted. Everything was very clean. The house is beautiful and very cozy. Jennifer is a lovely person, very attentive to everything and pleasant. If you're planning on going to the beach and staying in an Airbnb, do it here because this house is perfect for the occasion.🥰♥️

This house was great and we would stay here again! We even had a 6 month old with us and one of the bungalows was big enough for mom/dad and a pack n play! The air was perfect and cold like we liked it and the extra bed in the room with the king was perfect to kick the snoring husband to after a full day in the sun. Such a great idea, that I came home and instantly thought about doing the same set up to our master bedroom nook, lol! Just brilliant! Everything was supplied, TV’s everywhere, enough beach chairs for everyone and the chairs were in great shape also! Easy to find, close to beach and shopping! We will definitely stay in one of Stephanie’s homes in the future. Thanks for a lovely weeks vacation! Had a blast!

We loved Ben and Ann’s place. It was just as described and more. Very comfortable and inviting. The location was perfect for us with great places to go within a short walk or drive. Ben and Ann were easy to contact if needed. Their home was comfortable and had all the amenities one could ask for. We highly recommend their place and will definitely return.

We recently wrapped up an AMAZING stay at The Lobster Beach Bungalow. Everything was as described- charming ‘old Florida’ feel and close proximity to the beach (50 steps). It felt like a miniature resort. We got to meet other vacationers staying at the other bungalows, which was pretty cool. We were even able to enjoy the pool on a day where the gulf waters were a little rougher. There are a lot of eateries within walking distance. We tried a different coffee shop every morning- yum! The bungalow itself was comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. The kitchen had we could have desired should we have decided to eat in. Too many yummy local eateries for that for us though! We also loved being able to have our fur babies with us, as no vacation is complete without our whole family. We look forward to returning next year with some extended family to experience this peaceful paradise. Thank you, Liz, for creating a place that feels like home away from home!

Absolutely worth it. We spent time on Manatee Beach, had great dinners at the Ugly Grouper, Anna Maria’s Oyster House and Marina Jacks which was more upscale. The house was super clean and very comfy. Last eve was spent in pool and hot tub. Also owners were responsive to any requests. i would recommend this place and stay again myself. We also rented a catamaran 3 hour tour 😉 at Kathleen D’s. very nice.

We had a great time. Super clean, beautiful home, full of extras. The property has many things to do and keep everyone entertained. Great communication, definitely one of our favorite vacation homes. Can’t wait to stay here again!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Ammey’s place. The location was perfect. It was close to all of the restaurants and shops on Bridge Street, it was an easy walk down the beach to other restaurants located right on the beach. It wasn’t far to Coquina Beacb and my husband enjoyed the walking/running path there. The condo was well appointed for our group of 4 people and would easily fit three couples. The extra beach umbrellas you can rent from Ammey were so convenient. There were plenty of chairs and beach toys. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to AMi.

We loved it. Great place, great location and very cute, especially if you appreciate the quality and sturdiness of older homes. The pool is a huge bonus. Check in/checkout and everything in between is very easy and convenient.

This was the perfect beach house getaway for my family. The house was well stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, and even pool/beach supplies. The beach was only short walk across the street. The pool was amazing and probably our favorite spot to hangout. Will definitely look into booking Anna’s place again because it’s a gem!

I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful place on Anna Maria Island, hosted by Ulrike. Ulrike was a great and responsive host—quick to reply and helpful throughout the trip. The home was very well-equipped, clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The view was absolutely stunning and added so much to the experience. Overall, the stay was incredibly enjoyable, and I’d gladly return. Highly recommended!

We had a pleasant stay in a great location, just steps from the beach! Julie and Alex were awesomely incredible, anytime we reached out, they responded quickly and took care of everything right away. Their attentiveness and communication really made the experience smooth and stress-free. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway!

Carla’s place is lovely! The patio over the mangrove offers quiet solitude for your morning coffee and beautiful sunrises! The beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need for cooking meals. The proximity to the beautiful beaches if perfect. Rent a bike across the street for $43 for the the week, take the shuttle bus up or down island… you don’t need to rent a car, and avoid the hassles of having to find parking. It all made for a wonderfully relaxing vacation!! Oh, and the folks we met in and around her condo were so welcoming! Would definitely recommend!!🏖️👍🏼☀️
