Family-friendly holiday rentals in Homewood

My girlfriends and I loved our stay at the Big Dipper! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. There was plenty of space for the six of us. We particularly enjoyed hanging out on the stunning deck, in the hot tub and at nearby Speedboat Beach. Sally was a communicative and helpful host, and her local recommendations are spot on! We would happily to return and will not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family.

Stephany's place was AWESOME!!! The home was Wonderful & Very Comfortable! We loved hanging out on their marvelous deck with our friends and our family. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with pretty much everything you could need. The beds were very comfortable for ALL of us. But, our favorite part was the Neighborhood!! It was so quiet and peaceful. All of the homes were on large lots so there was very low density, as well as very little traffic. We would definitely consider staying at Stephany's Home again the next time we visit the Tahoe City area!!!

Great location-close to town but more private & quiet. Enjoyed the hot tub, pool, sauna & tennis court on the property.

The house was well put together and all amenities were nice and clean. Ken was very responsive and helpful with any questions or recommendations. Beautiful home and neighborhood with friendly neighbors were encountered on our walks. I would highly recommend this spot for a large group or small depending on what type of visit you are looking for. There are shops and restaurants near by which was nice to be able to enjoy in addition to the house and amenities. I would stay here again.

The location is great and the is home clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The restaurants nearby are good. The walking trails close by too.

We brought our family from England and it was the most amazing time! The house is beautiful - the views are incredible and are the focal point of the house. The kitchen, bedrooms, and all of the amenities the house has to offer just make it that much better! We will definitely be back!

Had a beautiful weekend in the cottage. Bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the coffee bar, and the kitchen was perfect for cooking in. The shower felt great, hot and good flow. Couldn’t beat the location in great communication with the host. Can’t wait to go back.

Enjoyed our stay at Evo’s. The neighborhood was nice, had a partial view of the lake and was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Evo was very responsive and offered good information on things to do. Would stay again if I return to Tahoe.

My family and I spent a wonderful weekend at this cabin. Cabin was well set up, beds comfortable, many games/ equipment available for use. The hot tub and views from the deck were amazing. Highly recommend!

The house was really great. Lovely, peaceful neighborhood with a trail to hike at the end of the cul de sac. Nice balcony to sit on and have your morning cup of coffee and a great big fenced in yard for our dogs to run around in while we played cards on the picnic table. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful retreat.

Matt was a great host, we loved the A Frame house and was an easy walk to the little town and beach area.

The Beadle cabin was perfect for 5 adults and one child. From the time we walked in until we left, we enjoyed the coziness and feeling of being at home. You just felt comfortable. Welcome. The house was spotless and well cared for. Everything we needed was there; from bathroom, to kitchen, to playing games and the outdoor grill area. My granddaughter loved the loft bed and stayed there in “her area” for long periods on her pad. She had her own privacy which we all need time to time. Chris’s Place is centrally located for just about anything you forgot or needed, whether it was groceries, gas, EV charger, restaurants, boating, etc. I would recommend this “home” to anyone, anytime. You will not be disappointed if you want to feel safe and cozy. Thank you Chris!! 💕

I can’t say enough about David’s place. This little cottage has all the feelings of home. It’s super cozy and has a great location. The view is stunning from the deck. David was great about communicating with me and responding to questions. I hope to be able to return to Lake Tahoe someday and I will definitely look into staying here again. Thank you so much for sharing your little spot of paradise with us!

This is the perfect Tahoe getaway. Easy access to the lake (rocky but lovely) and a great breakfast spot just next door. Would highly recommend if you have several couples or family that want a getaway.

We had a great stay! Gordon's home was in a great location relative to the activities we wanted to do in the area. Gordon provided clear, easy to follow instructions and took care to set up a home away from home for us. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Lake Tahoe!

Clean, organized, and full of everything you'd need. The owner clearly put a lot of work into the space and it shows. Many Airbnbs are bare-bones but this one is not. So many labels and instructions!

We had a great stay! Apartment was well furnished and convenient. it's location was great! We would definitely stay there again.

This is our second time staying in Northstar and this time around we really liked the condo we stayed in. The kitchen was newly remodeled and it fully loaded with all the basic essentials to make a meal. The deck off the living was a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and bird watch. My family had a great time playing with the mini foosball table and we loved the rec center. So much to do! The rec center staff were very helpful and polite. We look forward to booking again in the near future!!

I’ve stayed in several Airbnbs and Micks place is one of my favorites. Central, easy location and right around the corner, practically, is a fabulous bakery with gluten free choices!!!! The unit was clean and well equipped. The washer and dryer worked perfectly. I high recommend this unit. It’s certainly worth the very fair price.

Thomas and Omar are great and very responsive. The house is very nice and cozy. The view from the balcony is amazing during the day and get to see the milky way at night too. The area is nice and quiet but still close enough to get to Stateline and the lake for activities and nice restaurants.

5 Stars – A Perfect Lake Tahoe Stay I stayed at this cozy condo in Tahoe Vista for five nights and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is incredible—right across the street from the North Shore of Lake Tahoe and just a five-minute walk to the water. The space was clean, quiet, and peaceful, with a perfectly equipped little kitchen that had everything I needed. Communication with the hosts was smooth and responsive from start to finish. This spot felt like a true retreat, and it’s absolutely a place I’ll be returning to. Highly recommend!
