Holiday rentals with lake access in Homosassa

We loved the place, it was well stocked. The location was perfect it is down a canal so not much traffic and so it was very peaceful. There were plenty of kayaks for the 6 of us. We saw manatees and dolphins on our trip. The beds were very comfortable. The one and only issue was it says it sleeps 6 but I wouldn't recommend it for 6 adults/teens. It comfortably sleeps 4 adults/teens and maybe smaller children. We would definetly stay her again just if we had a smaller group.

We enjoyed using the Canoe on the Chaz. We were blessed with seeing the Manatees right from day one. On our last day, the dolphins came swimming by towards the campgrounds then back out to the Gulf. The house is very comfortable. We loved to sit out in the screen porch having our coffee in the morning and reading. The one event that was a blast was going to Copps Brewery in Crystal River for Music Bingo. We enjoy Fred George playing at the Shed on Thursdays. Finding music festivals in the area. The best one was south of Brooksville, The Will McLean Fest I like to cook so I brought my own instant pot as that is what I use most of the time. You are close to grocery stores and a Dollar General is great for things I forgot to pack. Enjoyed walking to the campground boat landing is fun to see all the people. By the end of our trip we found the Manatees were hang more up the river by the houses. The Noseam bugs were nasty. I use a thermacell to rid the bugs.

Kristen was a wonderful host. Friendly & accommodating. The house was lovely, comfortable, and well equipped. I especially loved the upstairs loft with the picture window that offered a great view of the surrounding marshlands from the upstairs desk. The outdoor spaces were great for cookouts & fishing too if you’re up for a little kayaking. There are set of wind chimes that sing the most beautiful melody creating an almost hypnotically relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend!!

The place was spotless and very welcoming. The access to the river is right around the corner and the dock and patios were a welcome spot to spend down by the water. We definitely had an amazing weekend and would love to book again in the future.

We’d definitely stay here again. It was a great place, wonderful outdoor space, great for fishing, pool, sand area and fire place! House seemed newly renovated, very clean, with no clutter and easy to enjoy. We stayed for 4 nights on a holiday weekend and still felt relaxed, and private. It’s also a perfect place if you have a boat, and for kids. Jennifer was responsive and great with communication. Thank you for the awesome stay!

My husband and I stayed at Matt's Place and it didn't disappoint. It is exactly what he described in the details. We had our morning coffee on the pier to watch the beautiful sunrise and listen to nature waking up. Enjoyed some jacuzzi time and some BBQ. The Hammocks are a nice touch. Somehow I was under the impression it had a king or queens size bed, but the house is establish with 2 bunkbeds, which was perfectly fine and different. The location is sure "Nature pure" your are close to grocery stores and restaurants but when on the property it feels you are far away from everything. Kitchen was organized and equipped enough. We forgot charcoal but went to the local Publix to grab a bag...it was a very nice experience. Unique with the amenities Matt Offers...It was a warm welcome and easy access. We came into town for just a few days away from Ohio. It was a quick drive to manatees. Also very close to a great downtown area with restaurants and bars. The pool area was even better than we expected! Beds were comfy and the place was very clean. We loved our “Zen” time!

The owner came over to help us with a locking issue for the door. He was very helpful and friendly. He recommended going to The Freezer for dinner. Super spot to eat.

Cassie accommodated out early to check in because of our event. She met us onsite and was super helpful helping us locate the correct place. **The photos on the downstairs apartment rental are not of that actual unit. The downstairs apartment is the “Bridal Suite” and is equally as cute and fit our needs perfect. The decor is perfect. The surroundings are amazingly beautiful. The Oaks truly are Enchanting. Thankful for Kea for helping us with our wet concert clothes! 🌧️ We will be back. The campers and the A frame huts are magical. Thanks again.

Kristen's place was exactly as pictured. She was responsive in messages and made sure we had everything we needed. Her place was quiet and comfortable. The neighborhood is a bit older with some wear and tear, but Kristen's place is modern and feels like home inside. Very convenient to grocery stores and major roads.

Judith’s place was perfect for our trip to Tampa. It’s very private and peaceful and in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The house is well furnished and super comfortable-especially the beds! Will definitely stay again on our next visit to the area.

This was our second time renting this place and we just love it. Location is perfect, the price has been really good each time, and there's everything one needs. The house has a great lay out, with a large open living area with kitchen, dining area, and living room, and then the bedrooms are off to the sides. The large screened in area is cozy for hanging out and keeping all your things that don't need to come in the house. There are 5 single kayaks which are great and this time we needed a double kayak as well so we rented one from Easy Peasy Mobile Kayak Rental. Would definitely recommend reaching out to them if one needs additional kayaks at a fair price and they deliver and pick up. Sally is a fantastic host who has always been so responsive and we will definitely be coming back for a third time :)

Highly recommend the apartment, nice backyard directly at the water. Beautifully renovated bath- and bedrooms. Well-equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook your own meals. Hosts were reachable and very supportive. Perfect for a weekend-escape into the green!

Peace, tranquility, privacy This place is a treasure. They are preserving some of the old Florida Charm. Not many places left like this Thank you And we plan on returning again soon

Our 2nd one month stay at this lovely cottage. It's an excellent location on a channel to access Lake Henderson. Perfect for bass fishing. The home is clean and comfortable. It's spacious and was perfect for 2 couples. The kitchen is organized and well stocked . We enjoyed the patio, particularly the newly installed gazebo which provided shade during sunny days. The view from the patio is relaxing and perfect for sunrises. Home is located in a very quiet neighborhood. It's an easy 3 mile ride down 44 sidewalk to get to the Withlachoochee Bike Trail. Spent many hours fishing. Every Monday we'd make the the 45 minute drive to the Webster Flea Market (excellent stop for produce) then stop for lunch at Big Bass Grill on Lake Panasoffkee. Easy drive to Winn Dixie. Would absoulutely stay again,

I don't know where to begin! This home is perfect for a getaway. It's cute, comfortable, in a nice quiet neighborhood and has the private dock. We were there almost two weeks and I could have stayed longer. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch and out on the dock to do some fishing and just take in the local nature. Julie made recommendations on things to do in the area. Inverness is a very nice little city with about anything you can think of to do, not to mention the things to do within 30-60 mins. My bottom line is I highly recommend staying here! I bet you'll feel just like we did when we left.. sad it was time to go. But we will be back! :) Five star host!

This is our second time renting this home because it’s so great! It’s also the perfect location for my son’s tennis training. Krista always responds quickly with any questions. One of these days I’m gonna use that beautiful backyard. Maybe when I come back in August.

What a beautiful lake house just as shown. Very cozy & decor was amazing. The view is super & the sunsets are spectacular.

We were looking for a quiet get away and we got what we were looking for!!! Seclusion and quiet!!!! Saturday was a little loud with the summers launching and loading in the empty lot next door but it was short and brief, so it didn’t bother us.
