Cottage holiday rentals in Honduras

Our stay at Casa Caribe was great! The view is absolutely breathtaking. 180°+ view of the ocean. It is truly indescribable. the grounds are beautifully done and well-tended with tons of tropical plants and flowers. It was super easy to kayak out to the mangroves and to the reef for snorkeling which was a wonderful experience! The hospitality is top notch too. Chris was super communicative and gave wonderful suggestions for places to visit. He even made reservations for us to make it easier. Banuel is the caretaker and he is so wonderful. He is there for absolutely anything you need at all and he is truly happy to serve guests. He also has great knowledge of the island and tells great stories! They truly take all the stress out of the vacation by having everything you could want or need. And they are willing to get for you anything they may not have. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It was beautiful, restful, relaxing, and fun! If you are going to Roatan, this is the place to stay!

Nos sentimos como en casa, realmente todo muy bonito, la casa muy ordenada, la cocina contaba con todos los utensilios requeridos los cuartos grandes y todo excelente, nos encantó que teníamos lugares cerca como el supermercado. Recomendado 100%

We had a wonderful stay at the Calabash Reef House! You can see the ocean through the swaying palm trees and hear the waves. The reef just off the shared dock is beautiful. The neighbors are super friendly and helpful. A few things to know: You must have a 4x4 or AWD to get to the house (or a motorbike). There are several very steep hills once you leave the main road. If you have a pet hair allergy this is not a good place to stay - there is a lot of cat hair in every nook and cranny. The water can be rather tricky if you are there in the dry season. You will need to be very frugal and keep a close eye on tank levels. In order to fill the tanks you will need to turn the pump on and off twice a week at set times - and they don't always get full. This little neighborhood is very isolated. It is at least a 20-minute drive to a restaurant and there are not many restaurants on the east end. If you want nightlife stay on the west end. Personally, we like the quiet of the east end.

Es la segunda vez que nos quedamos en la casa de Alejandra y fue igual/mejor que la primera vez. La casa está muy bien equipada, limpia, en una zona segura, cerca de la playa y el área social/la piscina es nuestra parte favorita. Hay buena y pronta comunicación con Alejandra y Keyla la encargada de la casa, había un corte de energía programado y a los minutos ya nos habían resuelto con el generador eléctrico.

What a wonderful experience! Not only is it the most friendly island we’ve been to Jo and Tony were just the best. This house has everything you need, the view is amazing, even the beautiful reef right out back was such a bonus. Thank you so much Jo and Tony, we will return. Next trip I’m getting dive certified

We booked this place because of it's location and the fantastic reviews and it did not disappoint. As many others have said, Zorro is an excellent host. He is very responsive to messages, coordinates pick up to and from the airport, and is always available to make sure you have an amazing stay. He quickly became like family, always greeting us with a smile and offering suggestions for resturants, excursions, and will help hook you up with some of the locals to easily arrange water taxis and tours that will immerse you in the local culture. The house was perfect for our family of 3 and we felt at home during our entire stay. Well stocked with anything you could need including drinking water. The location is the real highlight. It is perfectly situated between West Bay and West End and private and secluded. The beach is just steps from the back porch with lounge chairs, a covered bar area, and a dock for water taxi access. The property is just so beautiful and relaxing. We will be back.

La casa de Saraí es genial, buenos espacios, bien diseñada, limpia, equipada, privada, agradable. Tiene detalles pensados para hacer tu estadía un tiempo agradable, incienso, juegos de mesa, especias, cafecito, se esmera y eso hace que desees regresar.
