Waterfront holiday rentals in Hoofddorp

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

Do not hesitate to go there! It is the perfect getaway! Everything is well thought, well decorated, we felt so quickly at home and at peace. There are some houses and neighbours around the house but you might only see them when you arrive and leave. The place is private and quiet. The view is exactly like the picture, we spent evenings looking at the sky, the birds, the rabbits and the cows. A great place 😊

We found the loft cozy and the view of the garden was beautiful. Brigitte always responded quickly. Perhaps in the future we will come back so that my husband can run in the dunes 😉

Kim is very responsive to any communications. Well equips home. Left some items by way of coffee etc to help when you first arrive.

We had a lovely few days at Yvonne’s place, enjoying the beautiful and peaceful countryside from their really excellent apartment. The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, quiet and fully equipped - perfect for our needs and with the benefit of a lovely outdoor space to enjoy hot days and warm evenings. We would certainly return. Yvonne and Rob were outstanding hosts - friendly, helpful and generous - and we are happy to recommend both them and their apartment.

We had a wonderful stay at Bert and Marieke's spacious apartment. We were welcomed by Bert who helped us with our luggage up the stairs and showed us into their well appointed 2 bedroom apartment. It had everything we could need. The apartment was beautiful. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Bert and Marieke.

super nice apartment. really everything was present and clean. friendly hostesses and very hospitable. we were even allowed to check out a little later which suited us very well after the visit of a concert.😂 location was also top close to the water and beautiful surroundings. definitely recommended

We were traveling by bike and used Ben and Inge's accommodation for 3 nights. On the one hand, the proximity of Amsterdam (with a bus stop nearby and the train from Weesp... totally easy!) and the really beautiful small towns of Weesp, Muiden and Naarden. Inge brought us an incredibly great breakfast every morning on request. She is a great, very friendly hostess. Thank you very much for this great start to the day. We felt totally comfortable with Ben and Inge and appreciated their hospitality very much. The small independent apartment is very quiet, very clean and cozy (as in the photos). Actually a real insider tip, ....psst,but don't tell anyone :-) Thank you, Inge and Ben for the great time! Thomas & Astrid

This is a lovely home in a quiet and stunning setting on the water. Great for families with kids. This is a great location to explore the lake from and has lots of amenities available for the guests to keep kids busy. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend a stay here.

Mattie’s place is the best in Amsterdam. Clean, cozy, conveniently located and very charming. She gave great recommendations and advice. I can’t thank her enough. She also sent back a necklace I forgot

It was a wonderfully quiet stay in a very nice location.

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! It was spotlessly clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!), everything had been thought of (including a welcome bottle of bubbles!), it was spacious, and very convenient for public transport....oh, and stylishly decorated! Being close to the train station meant that we could easily get into central Amsterdam, as well as go on day trips to Rotterdam and Zaanse Schans during our stay. Our favourite day was renting bikes in Zaanse Schans for the day and enjoying cycling through the countryside. Very happily recommend this place to others looking for a base near Amsterdam.

We had a great stay at Michelle’s. She is a very friendly host and answers questions quickly. The place is exactly as described and shown on the pictures. The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, and the commute to the city is easy.

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived at a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. The most perfect little house in Maarssen! Located about 20 minutes via bus/train from Utrecht and 30 minutes from Amsterdam, this gorgeous abode was a piece of heaven after a day of exploring! Upon arrival I was greeted by a few friendly chickens wandering the property and Ewoud, who made me feel right at home with not only great recommendations for Maarssen but helpful incite for bus information/apps and bike rentals. The house itself is so picture perfect cute! Comfy beds, relaxing bathtub, washer/dryer and a lovely outdoor space fitted with patio furniture. Keep in mind the stairs inside are rather steep and spiraling - but I found that it only added to its charm and felt like the bougie treehouse of my childhood dreams (lol). Got a chance to chat with Catelijne and Ewoud a bit on the eve of my departure and they are such wonderful hosts - would 100% recommend and would love to return!

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. This apartment was amazing for our quick trip to Amsterdam. The location is perfect—right on one of the main canals and walkable to everything. Helena was such a gracious host and gave us some great recs for vintage shopping, drinks, and eats. The space was well appointed and she was so flexible with our arrival and departure times. I would 100% recommend this place and would stay here again on a future visit.

The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

My family of four stayed at Max’s place for four nights. The location is great, with just about an hour’s drive to many popular destinations in Holland. The view of the lake from the balcony was beautiful. The apartment was clean and spacious. We truly enjoyed our stay in this quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and we will recommend it to our friends and family if they visit Holland in the future.

Our short vacay was really nice at Suus‘ place :) Everything was like described and we felt really comfortable. The location of the apartment was perfect, especially for us as a family with a toddler. We can really recommend it!

Location is perfect, place is nice and roomy, steps and hallway are a bit narrow but was totally fine for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Cute cafe nearby for breakfast. Host was great as well. Lots of good recommendations!!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Our stay with MorningStar in Amsterdam was absolutely exceptional. The home was pristine, beautifully designed, and full of luxurious touches that made our three-night stay unforgettable. We arrived to find thoughtful treats like fresh fruit and chocolate waiting for us—such a warm welcome! The location was perfect: central, quiet, and incredibly walkable, which made it easy for our family of four to explore the city. Every detail exceeded our expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommend!
