Buitenhuysje de Roos has recently been completely renovated and is wonderfully quiet. The cottage is small but nice, about 55m2 and has 3 bedrooms. In 2022, our cottage was renovated, with a new bathroom, kitchen and cast floor. There is a fireplace and nice wooden veranda, where you can sit very privately, with beautiful views. Within 5 minutes, you can drive to Bergen or Schoorl, where you will find supermarkets, nice shops and restaurants. The dunes and forest are within walking distance, and by bike you can reach the beach in 20 minutes.

Chalet Elske

Our chalet is located in the beautiful quiet Waarland. What to do in Waarland: Vlinderado, indoor mini golf, boat rental via HappyWale, outdoor swimming pool Waarland. Within a 25-minute drive, you can reach the beach of Callantsoog or the beautiful dune area in Schoorl. The beautiful cities of Alkmaar and Schagen (15 minutes drive) are also worth visiting. Vakantierijk Waarland is renovating the park. Our chalet is located on the edge of the campsite, so you will have little trouble with it.

Waterfront cottage with motorboat

Description Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is located in Oostwoud, in the heart of Westfriesland. It is a cottage-style home located behind our glass studio, in the deep waterfront garden. It can be rented as a B&B but also as a vacation home for a longer period. There is, among other things, a Grand Cafe De Post around the corner where you can eat delicious food and a pizza eatery Giovanni Midwoud that also delivers. A motorboat is available for a fee. Be welcome for a wonderfully relaxing stay on the farm! You will stay in the oldest building of the yard; the haystack. Do you or your children really want to experience farm life? Feel free to take a look and get to know the love between humans and animals. But you have also come to the right place for a relaxing stay. Enjoy the beautiful view that extends to the Markermeer, make use of the reading material or take a seat on your terrace where the cows pass you.

Our B&B is located in the heart of Waarland, with Alkmaar, Schagen and Heerhugowaard are within cycling distance. It is a guest house for 4 people, suitable for a family with older children. There is no train station in Waarland, and there are no buses in the evening. Without a car, we may not be the right location. For stays longer than 5 days, a discount is given, but you must provide your own breakfast.
