A great value to stay right on the beach in a beautiful tropical location !!! House is cute and cozy .. everything you need in the kitchen and the Starlink wifi worked great! (Unless there is heavy rain which is normal in these areas!) Emilie was super kind and easy to communicate with.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Surfside bungalows! Guanico Abajo is such a cool little place off the beaten path if you really want to stay away from the tourist traps. There’s a surf break right out front of the property and Thomas and Linda have surfboards available for rent. There’s a couple little restaurants within walking distance and a fully stocked grocery store about a 10 minute drive away. We rented a vehicle for our stay, which was very helpful because it is a ways from amenities if you want to cook for yourself. The place had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. A cleaner came a week in which was a nice bonus and there’s a neighbour who will look after any laundry you might have. You can order pizza on Sunday nights from a local bakery, they also come by Saturday mornings with freshly baked croissants and other delicious pastries. There’s also a fruit and vegetable guy that comes by once a week so you can get local produce right at the front door.

We had an amazing night at Agustin’s and Helena’s place. they were super welcoming and helpful in giving surf spot advice, renting boards and arranging an amazing horse riding trip with local friend Jaime. only regret is that we only had one night left and couldn’t stay longer. would 100% recommend to anyone in the area !

There are no words to describe how amazing our stay in Cambutal was! I can’t think of any place I would rather wake up and drink coffee. Mike was the best host and made us feel so welcome and at home. The house is gorgeous and our kids loved the pool and tide pools out front. The beach is so beautiful and we rarely saw another person there, which is exactly what we wanted. It was also such a treat eating, hanging out and getting the best massage ever at Sansara. All was so dang relaxing and good for the soul. We already can’t wait to come back!
