I had a wonderful stay at this property. It was very clean and tidy, and the swimming pool was well-kept. The location is great for activities like cycling and fishing. The only issue was the door code didn’t work initially, but Airbnb provided a new one promptly.

Kelvin was a super host. One day the lockbox jammed. It was no problem as we had access the spare keys but even still, Kelvin immeditaely he replaced it! He also showed us around the amazing property like a real gentleman. Thanks Kelvin. It was peaceful, had everything we needed and is a very special property. I hope we can return in summer to experience the beautiful, naturally plant filtered swimming pool.

This is a great wee place, the gardens and surrounds are lovely. It was a shame it was the middle of winter, because the pool looked great too. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. Really felt like a home away from home.

we really enjoyed our time at the house, it had everything we needed for a relaxing night, especially the pool as it was a very warm day. a short drive to Masterson for supplies but a great spot to stargaze without light pollution. loved it, thank you Sarah ☺️

This place really felt like a home away from home. There was everything we needed. The hot tub and pool were much enjoyed. We were able to have a wonderful gathering with overseas family members and visits from our NZ children, plenty of space. We loved the beach. Simon was very friendly and helpful.

Really enjoyed the space the house provided, given we are a family of five. Nice laid back house, which was just what we wanted. Beach was safe and only a short walk away. We'd happily return, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great kiwi bach at the beach! It was in a great location and while compact in size didn't feel cramped or uncomfortable in any way, it was also set up with everything you could need. Bathroom was on the smaller side and felt a little tight but still functional. Ideal for short stays.

PS the FOUR SQUARE in town is worthy of a GOLD STAR too! Wonderful little bach. We loved it and played The Chase game you had there. We could hear the sea roaring on Sunday morning (after the storm).

Our stay was beautiful! Absolutely loved every moment and the place was stunning absolutely exceeded our expectations and felt very homey! Close to the beach which is always a bonus on holiday and was a very quiet environment which is great for some more chill evenings!

a last minute booking Linda was helpful and accommodating we arrived to a nice bottle of wine, chocolates, fresh milk, tea, coffee and bread a beautiful space to relax in which felt like home away from home thank you Linda would highly recommend and if ever we return back to Foxton will definitely book again thanks Renee

Alex’s place is the perfect Kiwi Bach experience. Well appointed and really family friendly. The kids toys were brilliant and loads of space. Alex was fast to communicate and give a heads up about it having shear curtains in the kids room prior to booking. It’s also super handy to the park, walk and cafe. The decking is also a highlight. We’d happily stay again!!

Sophie was a very responsive and helpful host, the house was lovely and very well stocked! The beds were really comfy and living/outdoor space was lovely in the evenings. Also, amazing shower pressure which is perfect after a day at the beach. The location near the 4square is perfect, but you’re probably better off driving or biking the 2km to the beach, especially if it’s hot. Overall an amazing stay in a lovely home, thank you Sophie!

Was a awesome place for us to stay for our weekend away. House is cozy and has what you need to have a good time with not needing to bring everything with you. Look forward to hopefully staying hear again

Great house and so close to the beach. Very responsive host, easy check in and check out, spotless and well set up for a family. Kids loved the spa and absolutely adored Blueberry - she is honestly the friendliest, cuddliest cat I've ever met - I had to check that the kids hadn't put her in the car when we left because they fell in love with her! Ma’s Patch is a well loved, special place! It is absolutely retro, from the decor to the lack of wifi and television - which I found so relaxing! A great place to unplug and enjoy the sun. The house is fenced for little ones to run around the yard, and there’s heaps of toys available for the beach. There are board games and puzzles, and the kitchen is well labeled so you know where everything goes back. It’s spacious enough to accommodate three generations comfortably. Three days almost wasn’t enough!
