Family-friendly holiday rentals in Horseshoe Bay

BEAUTIFUL location and home!!! Extremely picturesque, feels secluded and private, the bathroom is gorgeous, all the amenities are perfect and George and Kim were amazing hosts, went above and beyond to make sure we were extremely comfortable and had a great vacation.

Everything as described and overall very nice stay. House is comfortable and exactly as in pictures. Easy to find. All appliances were in working order and every room was clean. Air conditioning was cranked on when we arrived - cold - something I want and appreciate. The hot tub is very nice and Matthew came by to show us how it worked. It is a small hot tub but a nice touch. Matthew started a nice fire for us as well. Nice place for a family with young kids.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We most likely will be back and recommend others to stay here as well. The value was great for the place and view. There were a few minor wear and tears on items but we didn’t stay in the room long enough for it to affect our stay or opinion. I absolutely loved how spacious the balcony is, the seating areas, and the ability to see the pool and the lake at the same time. It was an amazing view. There were a few minor issues with plumbing in the garage but we weren’t near or at the room so honestly we wouldn’t have known anything about it if the host wouldn’t have communicated it. I believe this is a gem and I’ll definitely stay again.

We chose the tiny house for waterfront access. It was just the two of us but could easily host a family. Kitchen is well stocked, BBQ grill available. The resort is on the water, there’s an area to swim and several boat slips that you can fish from. The resort is a clean property all the amenities are in working order. It’s older, could use some updates, but doesn’t detract from the great location or nice staff.

The place is great for a large group - tons of sleeping arrangement, open common spaces and a lovely backyard (with hot tub!). Everything was very clean and George was very responsive to any questions we had. Even allowed us to store our luggage in the garage/game room after check out. 10/10 can’t recommend enough!

This is such a great house for our girls weekend! It had everything we needed and was close enough to downtown to still explore the city. The views are amazing and the pool made it so perfect to hang out and not feel like we had to go anywhere. Would definitely stay here again!

Matt was an exceptional host. He communicated well and shared a list of activities in Lago Vista, along with a list of items in the house. The house was comfortable for our large family, outfitted for a group and had beautiful views. The dock house was fun and the yard expansive. Matt was responsive before and during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend

Great space for a group, yard games in the back were a blast. Incredibly walkable area with restaurants and bars and thrift shops.

Quick drive to downtown/tourist spots Perfect sized house and was comfortable with 4 people. loved the set up. Cute backyard. Clean and comfortable beds. Would stay here again!

We had such a wonderful stay at this villa—truly a hidden gem! It had everything we needed and then some, making us feel right at home. Waking up to the breathtaking views of Lake Travis each morning was unforgettable. The villa was spotless, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. If you're in the area, I can't recommend it enough!

Overall good stay! It is directly in their backyard which is clear to see by the photos but I didn’t expect small children to be playing/swimming but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Overall 4/5 ⭐️! peaceful surrounding, pool was nice, house was clean.

My family stayed at Rancho De Vida over Memorial Day weekend and we had an amazing time. We were looking for a ranch that had privacy, plenty of things to do for the whole family and close to the many vineyards in and around Fredericksburg and that’s exactly what we got. The farm house on the ranch is beautiful and the solarium is was a great place for the family to hang out and relax. Mary has done an amazing job decorating every corner of the property. The pool has great views of the ranch and the two longhorns on the property. The new pool was MUCH bigger than it looks in the pictures, we were pleasantly surprised! Overall, not a single bad thing to say about this property, it was exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend it.

This was a great place for a group to stay, with plenty of room and even a foosball table. The neighborhood was very peaceful, and we enjoyed walking to the community pool. Katherine was very polite and always easy to reach if we needed anything.

Great location. Barton springs pool is right around the corner. Easy access to the hike/bike trails. You can get all around Austin by bicycle. There are rentals nearby. Relatively quiet as condos go. Kitchen adequately stocked. Shower fantastic. Bed comfortable. Might want to bring your own pillow.

The house was clean, spacious, had beautiful views, and an easily accessible path to the dock and lake. The elevator made it easy for disabled family members to reach all floors of the house. We loved using the amenities at the dock including the two floor rope swing, paddle board, and kayak. The newly added four-story slide was well enjoyed. The host was very responsive!
