It’s an extension of a family home but the private entrance means you can come and go as you please

Completely self-contained, the Annexe is set out over two floors, with a compact shower room, small kitchenette and sitting area leading to the patio. A lovely spiral staircase leads you up to the bedroom which has fantastic views over the dunes.

Merlyn Cottage is a 200 year old, picture postcard, 2 bedroom cottage set in the heart of the village Hickling, within the Norfolk Broads. Families welcome. No pets. Parking at the front of the house. 2 minute walk to the Greyhound pub, 10 minute walk through the village to the Pleasure Boat Inn on Hickling Broad. Here you can hire day boats, rowing boats, kayaks and paddle boards. Ideal for bird watchers, walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. 3.4 miles from the beach, popular with seal watchers.

Set within the Broads National Park, Martham is only 3.5 miles to the coast. We are walking distance to local amenities. Canoe and day boat hire are available in the village, to explore the Broads. Nature trails, marsh and river walks too. Only 15 miles to the beautifully historic city of Norwich and 8 to Great Yarmouth.
