Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Our party (5 couples) stayed at the property looking for an authentic experience of French food and wine, and hoping for a bit of rustic luxury sprinkled on top and this place did not disappoint. Everyone was blown away by the house's beautiful interiors, exteriors and amazing views. The house had everything we needed (and more). We loved the large outdoor table where we could all sit comfortably for a social breakfast and enjoy the stunning vistas. The location of the house is superb, surrounded by beautiful views and very peaceful. The bike ride to St Emillion took us along quiet country roads, meandering past many exquisite chateaus and vineyards. Finally, special mention to our wonderful host Ellie who couldn't do enough for us. Great recommendations, excellent local knowledge, extremely helpful and thoughtful, super fast to respond to any messages, and really flexible and generous.

Good large house overall - good spot for a family. The location is very residential so not much to do around and not super close to the city centre by foot. The parking is good for 1 car so if you are multiple families it may be a bit tough. The house was clean, good appliances and amenities in the kitchen so perfect to cook. The outdoor space is nice and adds a plus to the house. The host is not super fast to respond and the check in is very late so to note if you have children as you can’t enter before 5pm. Very kids friendly and enough space for families to be around and feel at ease.

J was extremely responsive and helpful! He was there when we arrived, showed us around the property, and made wonderful restaurant & activity suggestions. Because we arrived just before a holiday, he was very kind to help us make restaurant reservations for our entire stay; we would not have gotten in otherwise. The property was very centrally located - a short 1/2 block walk to Josie's Coffee shop; around the corner from a bike rental shop, bakery, grocery store, and the Lighthouse. We walked or biked around the town easily. The house was perfect - Cleanliness is super important to me and it was super clean. The house was recently renovated, had modern updates, and was very nicely decorated. The layout was perfect - each bedroom has its own bathroom. And, enjoyed sitting outside in the back yard at the pool in the late afternoon. This was a jewel of an experience for us.

The house and kitchen were very clean and extensively equiped with many condiments, cling wrap etc. Constance was very prompt and helpful when needed. Pool was heated which was a bonus. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Our stay at Laurent's house was lovely. Everything was at our disposal - large peaceful garden, heated pool, equipped kitchen, large living room and comfortable rooms. Very good communication with Laurent who was available should there be anything we needed. The house is located in a very quiet location, and offered us a lot of comfort for our family and baby.

Emma's place is stunning and our group had an amazing stay there! We were a group of 7 adults and 3 children and we had everything we could have wanted and needed at Emma's place. The kitchen is well-equipped and the garden is wonderful for outside dining and for the children to roam around. We really didn't want to leave! Emma was so kind to help us with our constant questions - she is the perfect host. Thank you for having us, Emma!

Very nice accommodation and suitable for a weekend with family or friends. I highly recommend David's house, who is responsive and pleasant. Very good bedding and high-end equipment. Great stay at David's.

When you open the door, you discover the beauty of the place. Very well decorated, down to the smallest details. Perfect house! Impeccable cleanliness, more equipped than necessary, there was everything, especially in the kitchen... a joy for the gourmets that we are! Great bedding. Very good baby equipment. Very quiet environment, the view of the vineyards from the kitchen is exotic. Very responsive host, an asset. In short, we will be happy to come back if we pass through the area again.

We had a 3 night stay here and wish it was longer! Such a clean and peaceful place. Super close to the beach to catch some waves, eat good food and simply enjoy the beach or go for a walk in nature. There was a massive fridge, nice if you’re with more people and want to have a nice bbq night. We were only with 2 and the house really felt like coming home. Indoor and outdoor. Nice spot for my morning Yoga and breakfast in the sun. The overall design makes it fun and brings you in complete holiday mode. The aircon keeps the house nice and cool. Château Le Grave is a beautiful property and was a wonderful choice for our group holiday. We had a lovely stay and found the house very comfortable. The photos don’t quite do it justice—it’s even more charming in person. The kitchen is well-equipped, which made cooking for our group easy and enjoyable. There were a few small issues that affected the overall experience. There wasn’t quite enough toilet paper provided for the weekend, the pool area didn’t have lighting at night, and we encountered an electrical issue that we needed to resolve ourselves. I noticed similar mentions in past reviews, so it may be worth addressing these for future guests. Communication with the host could have been more positive. There was some confusion regarding the cleaning fee, which had already been included in the booking total, and we were asked to pay extra for a few broken glasses, which seemed inexpensive to replace. That said, the property itself is truly lovely and we had a great time.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. It was spacious and the quality of the bedding was a standout. Our family really enjoyed the Scandinavian experience with the sauna and the spa - a must visit for the winter! And special thanks to Stephanie for the warm welcome and being helpful before and during our stay.

We had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful house and our expectations were far exceeded. The location is perfectly quiet yet central, so we could easily reach everything in the area. The house itself is tastefully decorated, extremely clean and offers plenty of space for a relaxing break. A special highlight was the incredibly back-friendly mattresses - we rarely slept so well!!! It was really relaxing to wake up rested in the morning. A detail that takes the stay to another level. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our questions. They have thought of everything, from small welcome touches to tips for the area. We really felt at home and were able to fully enjoy the time undisturbed. We would recommend this house to everyone without hesitation! A big thank you to the hosts!

I stayed here with in a group of 4, and I must say we very much enjoyed our time. Jules was very responsive to all queries, and his house was perfect for our time in Bordeaux. Jules also very accommodating to our requests - he is most definitely a super host! I would recommend Jules' house to anyone looking to stay in Bordeaux for a weekend.

A perfect 3 day stay!! The villa is very beautiful, as well as the garden and the pool. We were 3 couples of friends: we each had our own room and our own bathroom. The villa is well equipped. We didn't miss a thing. We were able to arrive without any problems at very late hours. The villa's environment is quiet. We are delighted and can't wait to come back as a family. Amazing place to stay, just as described. If you are looking for tranquility it is the place. The location allows you to get to know the area perfectly. We have fallen in love with this home. It's very cozy. The garden, if you go with children, is great, and it has a mini porch for breakfast and dinner, ideal. The light that enters is magnificent. You have the hosts as neighbors but you maintain privacy. Claire is charming, very kind and attentive. We look forward to returning.

It was a wonderful weekend with Jean-Charles and Elodie! The Airbnb is like a beautiful moment suspended in a small paradise... inside a beautiful building renovated by Jean-Charles with a sense of respect for the history of the place and a way between tradition and modernity, in the middle of nature. We had a great time!

We had a great stay in the Bay of Arcachon. The house is ideally located to enjoy the activities of the basin (Vélodyssée, oyster farms, towns, etc.). The accommodation is functional and pleasant for the older and younger ones (petanque, swimming pool, ping-pong table, etc.). The accommodation is perfectly suited for a group of 9 people, each has their own space. Estelle and Annie were available, accommodating and punctual for check-in and check-out times. We recommend this accommodation and can't wait to come back and visit the basin!

Excellent family stay in a typical Cap Ferret cabin. The location is ideal 2 steps from shops and feet in the sand, the sunrises are magical! The house is very cozy and fully equipped. The outdoor shower is a must. Thanks to Christel and Marie for this stay. We'll be back!

Claudine is a perfect host. She is very friendly and helpful. With her help we found a good restaurant for dinner. The accommodation is of high quality with all what you need. This is a perfect stay for a night or even longer. The environment is very quite and silent. We had a very good night.

We had an extraordinary stay at Marie's. She was of a rare and precious kindness and kindness. We even had some explanations about the heritage history of this beautiful house, a perfect weekend. The terraces and views of the Dordogne are absolutely magnificent and the interior spaces are very beautiful and well-equipped. We 100% recommend the place and Marie's kindness contributed to the success of our event.
